What do I do if a sitter requests me to pay them outside of Meowtel?
By no means should you agree to this request. Payments outside of Meowtel (e.g. cash, check, Venmo, etc.) violate our Terms of Service and we do not honor or provide insurance coverage for these reservations.
If we identify that a sitter-customer agreement was made outside of Meowtel, we may deactivate your account and the sitter's account, with or without notice.
