I’m a cat lover from birth. Growing up in the country allowed my family to have lots of farm cats. Now that I am in the city I can only have two (tear). I make cat friends everywhere I go, and I would love to meet your kitties and be their cat friend, too.

I’m confident my skills as a cat mom can help your cat feel secure while you are away. In the country there were lots of strange situations cats would get into- so I am comfortable giving medications, redressing bandages, cleaning their little faces with a warm washcloth or combing them for fleas and ticks. I’m accustomed to all cat personalities: from the lovable little mammas to the salty Tom cats. Every cat has their own kitty combination, and I feel great pride when a cat chooses to spend their time with me (I cracked the code!)

What does a cat need? I believe a cat needs play and relaxation as much as food, water and shelter. When I meet your cat I will take time to get to know them, build their trust, and make sure not to rush the experience. Once they warm up to me, I will use an agreed upon toy (laser pointer, feather toy, stuffed mouse) to give them exercise. It is very important for a cat, because they are curious and can develop bad nervous habits if their predatory instincts aren’t stimulated (such as weight gain, clawing furniture or being otherwise destructive). During calm, lazy moments I will give your cats a kitty massage (confusing for them at first, but after a few short exposures they really like it. It is similar to our lymphatic massages.) And each cat is different, so I would wait until after our meet and greet to determine what Your cat needs.

Health and safety are top priorities. While in your home I will always wear a mask, use hand sanitizer or soap and water before performing any work, and provide a screenshot of my temperature reading if requested.
