WHY SELECT ME?
I have been owned by kittens and cats for over 20 years and so I not only know how to take care of them, I know their little quirks!

AN ADDED EXTRA: I will bring in your mail, care for any plants, and take out the garbage!

MEDICAL INFORMATION ON ME: I am fully vaccinated against COVID! Can show Vaccine Card during in person meeting. I am happy to wear a mask if I do a physical meet and greet with you. If you also prefer, I can wear a mask while watching your kitties. I would also regularly wash my hands.

ABOUT ME:
I am somewhat cat obsessed and frankly I am ok with that. I have a coffee mug with cat quotes on it, a cat shaming calendar, and I have numerous books about feline history.

Growing up, my family had four cats over a span of about 20 years or so. I loved helping to take care of them, especially as I got older and I could do more. Many dog people make dog houses for their pets; I made a cat house for mine, and our cats actually used it.

In addition to this, after our last fur baby passed away, I began volunteering at a cat shelter. I would still actively be there if COVID had not shut it down. My time there not only allowed me to have fun with cats and kittens, but also got my more acclimated to handling cats who were sometimes a little aggressive and scared.

Even before helping out at the cat shelter, the cats that my family adopted and fairly different personalities and so I got very used to dealing with polar opposites. One cat who so curious that if you put her on a roof, she might have actually jumped off from it because her instincts didn't recognize the danger. Another cat on the other hand was so nervous that if even close family came over, she would scurry as fast as her legs could go up to the attic. As you could imagine the timid cat would have a hard time with warming up to certain people. I took it as a great honor that she had no problem with warming up to me and accepting me as a servant.

I know how stressful it can be to leave your cat alone for any prolonged period. You feel bad and you worry that the cat will judge you (that is even more than they usually do). I am happy to provide comfort and companionship to your fur children when you are away. I am a detail oriented person who can follow instructions to the letter, am happy to ask questions for clarity, and am more than happy to send pictures and videos of your kitties to show you their status.

Relevant medical skills. I am very well trained in giving pills to cats and ensuring that they swallow them. I would follow up the pill with a nice treat; I like to think that I helped condition the cat to swallow the pill for the reward. But who am I kidding, the cat probably conditioned me.

Relevant cleaning skills: Very good at cleaning up vomited food on bare floors, carpets and quilts. Also very good at cleaning up vomited pieces of plastic in same areas.

I hope that you will choose me to be your sitter. I would welcome the chance to take care of them and would be honored by your furbabies to be considered their servant.
