Meow! I am Jaclyn, a cat sitter in San Diego, CA

I am a a bonafide Cat Lady with almost 20 years of kitty care experience. I have had 3 of my own during that time & have had extensive cat sitting and cat "serving" experiences (Both domestic and feral street cats). I find so much fulfillment in understanding each unique kitty personality and finding ways to be in tune & connect with them. I am well versed on cat behavior and how to interact with a variety of cat personalities. I am a huge fan of cat gurus like Pam Johnson-Bennett & Jackson Galaxy!
I have skills in:
-General play and emotional stimulation (My toy interaction and physical affection game is on point!)
-Adapting to behavior (Understanding how your kitty is feeling & adjusting accordingly)
-Understanding & management of inter-cat dynamics (Please give me the low down beforehand so I can keep the boundaries in order!)
-Administering medication. We all know how tricky that can be! I have given (or perhaps coerced 🤣) oral medication to many cats with ease. If you think I am a good fit for your special furbaby but they have a specific medical need, I would be willing to learn the process and give you honest feedback on if I could replicate it.

**One thing I will mention is I have no animals living with me now but I do interact with my friend's dog and (obviously) any other cat I come in contact with. If your cat gets territorial based on certain scents (dog or cat) please let me know, so I can limit those interactions before seeing your furry friend.
Reason #1 on why I wanted to be a cat sitter:
My most recent special needs fluffy girl was relinquished to kitty heaven last month. I am not ready to adopt another companion as I am now in the midst of a career change. However, I simply NEED to fill my cat-love bucket!
Reason #2: In the past when I had to travel for work or personal - I was SO picky (and possibly neurotic lol) about my cat's care. Two of my cats at certain times in their life needed medication or had special needs and it was daunting to find someone who could "do what I do" when I was out of town. Sometimes, I would even cancel or skip engagements if I didn't feel 1000% secure in a cat sitter. So, I personally understand how hard & nerve wracking it can be to find the right kind of person (that you can trust) catsit for your babies.
I know that I have something special to offer in this category. I will give the same love, attention and care to your kitten baby as if they were my own!
