Meow! I am Sarah, a Cat sitter in Los Angeles, CA

Before I became a cat sitter myself, I was a client using cat sitting services! I enjoyed it so much for my own cat, that I decided I wanted to become a sitter myself - it’s very special to me to provide loving service to my kitty clients, I’m a true cat lover!

So before I share a little about me, let’s first get down to cat business! Here’s everything to know about the services I provide. Any questions before booking? Please don’t hesitate to reach out and I’ll try my best to accommodate!

CAT SITTING WITH SARAH DETAILS:
*Covid-19 update: I am available for sits! Current clients, please book as you normally would. Thank you! I am also accepting new clients - all meet and greets for any new clients will be conducted via Facetime, Zoom, or Skype for the time being and key pick-ups/drop-offs will be done with as little contact as possible, and in masks. If you have any questions or concerns regarding Covid safety and cat sitting, or need an in person meet and greet due to having a high needs cat, please don’t hesitate to contact me!*

I have a flexible schedule and if there is a date on my calendar that is unavailable, please message me, I may still be able to accommodate!

I offer 20 minute, 45 minute, or 90 minute visits either once or twice a day(AM/PM). You can also split up times as well if you are booking twice a day - if your cat(s) are more energetic in the morning you can book a longer sit than in the evening, or vice versa. Below I’ve listed some scenarios to help you determine what length of sit might be best for your cat:

-if you have a shy or more reserved kitty that doesn’t like a ton of play or attention, I’d recommend the 20 minute visit!
-if you have a playful kitty that likes attention or have multiple cats with varying needs of attention, I’d recommend the 45 minute visit! If you have a cat that requires insulin injections or multiple medications, I recommend this length of time (or longer)
-if you have a cat or multiple cats with any special needs (insulin, etc), or they get very lonely/sad when you leave, or they have excess energy that really needs to be let out with lots of play, I’d recommend a 90 minute visit!

If you have any questions regarding what length of sit would be best for you and your cat, please message me and I’ll work with you to come up with a great sit plan!

My visits include:
-Feeding & thorough litter cleaning
-Lots of playtime and lots of snuggles (cat permitting, of course!)
-Light housekeeping: watering plants, bringing in mail, taking out the trash, and keeping the litter & feeding areas spotless
-Updates sent directly to you during and/or after the sit

I send lots of video & picture updates, at least 5-7! (Sometimes more!) Videos are my favorite - I know how hard it can be to not be with your cat(s) and I think sending videos is an important touch to see how they are really doing while away. I have a knack for getting some really great pictures and thoroughly enjoy my “cat photography”! You can find me on Instagram @catsittingwithsarah

I’m able to administer pills, liquid meds, an inhaler, and insulin injections. I do not offer subcutaneous fluids at this time.

And here’s a little about me personally:

I wasn’t allowed to have a cat growing up :( so naturally, cats became my favorite animal - I always considered myself “a cat person without a cat”!

My childhood dream came true around 7 years ago when I found an abandoned tabby kitten underneath a bush. We bonded instantly that day & I knew I had to bring her home with me, so I did! Minnie (in the photo with me) has been in our lives ever since & I feel very lucky to have rescued my best little pal! Since then I’ve spent a lot of time learning about cats and their care. I know what kind of cat sitting service I’d want to receive, so I’m here to provide just that!

My husband and I moved to Los Angeles in 2017. In early 2019, I started cat sitting and now in 2020, cat sitting is my full time passion & focus! In another life, I was a MAC makeup artist and then an Executive Assistant for a large commercial bakery.

Being with the cats I sit for is extremely healing & special to me, so thank you for allowing me the honor to care for your cat!

Many purrrrs,
Sarah
