Meow! I am Amber, a Cat sitter in Seattle, WA
I am a licensed veterinary technician, experienced petsitter and owner of a non profit special needs cat rescue. Cats are amazing, gorgeous animals! Comfortable with all levels of veterinary care as well.
All purrsonalities are welcome. Shy, cantankerous or cuddly, I enjoy spending time with each unique cattitude.
I have over 20 years experience in the veterinary field ranging from general to shelter to zoo practices. My specialty is in behavior and neonatal care. I believe there are no bad cats, just misunderstood cats! Personally, I have run a non profit rescue for neonatal and high medical needs kittens. The rescue also has a small senior cat program for fostering and hospice care (fospice) of homeless senior cats.
In home pet care has been a passion of mine for over 20 years as well. Cats often feel much more comfortable when able to stay in their home environment whether it be while their owner is out of town or for veterinary care.
I am looking forward to meeting your one of a kind kitties and helping keep them happy and home!
I am closely adhering to COVID-19 guidelines and will be wearing a mask throughout every visit. I will wash/sanitize hands prior to entry and prior to leaving. Initial interviews and virtual home walk throughs can be done by video chat. I will come by in person to pick up the key and see any specifics that may be a challenge virtually.
