I've never met a cat I didn't like...even the spicy ones! I had my first bottle fed kitten at age 5 when we found her alone under my porch. I learned the importance of allowing mother cats to move their babies, but not all kittens are accepted. My Tippy was what sparked my true love of animals. I have a great passion for animal advocacy/rescue having volunteered at AAWL (a no-kill shelter in AZ). My duties included dog walking/cat socialization/cage cleaning/bottle feeding/administering medicine and educating the adopters. My knowledge of cat behavior is extensive from the training I received while volunteering. Caring for senior cats is no issue as I have cared for several over the years and am aware/sensitive to their special needs. I've administered meds from oral to diabetic insulin shots which I have the most experience with for cats. It was devastating to me when had to say goodbye to my cat Hazelnuts in Dec 2022. Although I am not ready to adopt, I want to help others with cat sitting so they can be assured their cats are getting the best care while out of town/at work. I contacted Jena on just a few days notice and she went out of her way to find a time to meet and familiarize herself with Yzma's routines. Her care was exceptional, even noting a fee concerns with Yzma's eyes. But more so, she was such a good companion to Yzma that I'm afraid I am no longer Yzma's favorite. Cancellation Policy
Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.
Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.
No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
The Meowtel Promise & Satisfaction Guarantee
We are proud to provide each of our independently-contracted Meowtel cat sitters with the full benefits of our Meowtel Promise on eligible reservations. For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.
If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
