What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I’ve taken care of cats for over 20 years having grown up with them. The last cat I’ve had was for over 15 years!

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I like to discuss what the needs are from the cat parent and understand a little bit about the cat’s personality, habits, or special needs. I generally appreciate a meet-and-greet to understand all the cat sitting details, logistics, and to establish a connection. While cat sitting, I like to give prompt updates on how the cat is doing and how things are going.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

Give them space! Sometimes timid or anxious cats need time to adjust and warm up. When I sense a cat seems this way, I speak gently without making sudden movements or rushing to them and give them time and space to approach me when they get more comfortable.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.

For reservations where each visit is at or above $20 and paid for through Meowtel, your cat(s) will automatically be covered under our insurance policy in the event that things don't go as planned.

If you are not fully satisfied with your sitter after the Meet & Greet or during the reservation, please call 1-844-636-9835 so we can help you re-book with a new sitter to ensure we can deliver on our purrfect hospitality promise.
