I have been cat sitting for 5 years now privately and I care for cats of all temperaments, ages and needs. I have experience working with special needs cats and administering medications. My own cat Mabel is special needs she has a rare autoimmune disease called Pemphigus(not contagious to other cats!) and requires special medication... My name is Monica. Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I do! My oldest is 6 and her name is Biscuit! My middle cat is 3 and her name is Mabel (She is special needs) and my youngest is Bunny she is 10 months and quite the personality!

Are you usually available during holidays?

Absolutely I am! I have open availability all year round! I am a college student currently at the UofA and don’t ever travel!

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

With cats that are timid and anxious I tend to give them their space as to not further scare or overwhelm them. I do offer food and treats as that starts to get them out of their shell and I always let them approach me first! It is a long process but I have found that it works with every anxious cat I’ve worked with!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
