What The Meowtel Promise Covers
Every reservation booked through our platform is backed by the Meowtel Promise. Here's what's covered:
- Real humans to help before, during, and after your reservation
- A huge network of 5-star, background-checked cat sitters with real reviews from other cat parents
- The opportunity to receive visit updates and adorable photos or videos from your cat sitter
- The Meowtel Guarantee: Up to $10,000 in Client reimbursement for eligible vet care or accidental damage to your home or belongings (see Meowtel Guarantee Terms for details)
What To Expect
The Meowtel Guarantee is designed to protect cats during qualifying reservations booked through our platform, and in some cases, property damage to the Client’s home. Here are some of the details:
- A fast, friendly claims process
- Up to $10,000 in vet care reimbursement for eligible claims related to cat injury or accidental property damage
- Vet care for eligible claims is covered for up to 30 days
- Theft, injuries to Cat Sitters, and injuries to or loss of outdoor cats are not covered
In order to be eligible, injuries or damages must result from care provided during a service booked and paid through Meowtel.
In general, the Guarantee reimburses costs in the event the Cat Sitter is unwilling or unable to pay.
