What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love the quiet moments when a shy cat starts to trust me — it’s like they’re letting me into their world, and that feels special every time. I enjoy learning each cat’s personality: some want to play nonstop, some just want company while they nap. It’s rewarding to be the person who keeps them comfortable and happy while their family is away.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have three kitties! Keepurr, who I found in my driveway through the CDS, he is the calm, cool uncle of the house, and two inseparable litter mates, Mia and Vinny who I adopted last spring. Keepurr loves to follow me around and watch what I’m doing, while Mia and Vinny are full of energy and always up to something together. They’ve each taught me something different about patience, play, and love.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Choose someone who genuinely understands that cats aren’t small dogs — they have their own rhythms and quirks. Meet the sitter first if you can, and see how your cat reacts. Ask how they handle shy cats, health concerns, or special routines. And don’t be shy about asking for updates — photos and messages can make travel so much easier on your heart.

Aimee is absulute Gold; the best cat sitter I’ve ever had, hands down. My cats are my “kids”, so I’m pretty particular! Aimee goes the extra mile, and then some. When I arrived home last night, they said hello, but kept returning to the door in anticipation for Aimee! Aimee brings cat toys every visit, plays with them, brushes them, sends updates with photos, and still does all the other cat related chores beautifully! It’s obvious that Aimee loves animals. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

American Canyon cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $38.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Anyone would be lucky to have Aimee as their Housesitter and animal caretaker. Not only do I feel they’re in good hands with her, I feel that she loves them like her own. She places a high level of importance on stimulating them, playing with them, and keeping them safe. Additionally, Aimee takes excellent care of my home, often leaving it even cleaner than I left it. She is kind, an excellent communicator with quick replies, and she send the MOST incredible photo updates I have ever seen. You’d be crazy not to book her if she happens to be available! My pup and kitty love her and so do I! I can’t recommend her enough.
