What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have been providing cat care for friends and friends of friends for the past three years. During that time, I have cared for cats with different personalities and routines, including feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, providing playtime and companionship, and making sure they feel comfortable while their owners are away. I enjoy taking the time to learn their individual needs and preferences. My goal is to provide dependable, attentive care, and treat them like family so both cats and the owners feel at ease. I also provide regular updates and photos, helping owners feel reassured and connected to their cats while traveling. Being reliable, observant, and respectful of each home’s routines is important to me. I understand the importance of consistency and attention to detail when caring for pets. I always follow instructions carefully and strive to create a stress-free experience for every cat.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I enjoy cat sitting so I can provide the cat parents assurance that their fur baby is in the best of hands while they are away. I personally would want to feel comfortable with whoever is cat sitting for my cats.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

I cat set for a shy male cat named Frankie. He took some time to warm up to me. I was getting ready to feed him and I couldn’t find him. I looked everywhere. I noticed when I went into the kitchen every single kitchen drawer was open. All the dish towels were out on the floor. Frankie was inside the cupboard asleep. I opened his canned food and he came running out. After that he came and laid by me while watching TV. Then he even got on my lap.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have two senior cats. Their names are Lola and Boots. Lola is a 15 year old Tabby and Boots is a 13 year old Tuxedo.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

To meet with the sitter to make sure they are a good fit for their fur baby. Also to go over requirements they need.

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I like to ask a lot of questions when I do my meet and greet. I want to make sure I do everything the cat parent needs me to do.

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

I will double triple check to make sure the cat(s) is not locked in a room before I leave. I make sure all the cats needs have been met.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes I am typically available during the holidays. I welcome booking during this time. I might have more flexibility during the holidays since I may be off from my full time job.

What is your favorite cat toy?

I love to interact with cats with balls, or their favorite toy. I enjoy giving attention to cats especially when they want to play.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I allow the cat to get to know me at his or her pace. I will talk to him or her so they get use to my voice.
