I also enjoy traveling, beaches and cooking. Most of my working career has been in the hospitality industry.
My husband and I also operate a construction company.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I've been a cat sitter over 30 years and love all things feline as well as animals in general. Ive never had a bad situation and try to care for each individuals cats needs.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I enjoy each cats personality and interacting with them. Brushing and play time is very rewarding , as well as naps. Love taking pictures of everyone's cats and sending video's to cats family's while they are away.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I rescued a beautiful long hair black cat we named Buddy-bebee and a friend adopted him. Over the past few years , I've had the honor to care for him when his mom traveled. He loves massages and sleeping high up on his cat post. While each feline is unique, they are all special and I enjoy getting to know them and their personalities.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes, I have several felines. There names are .. Poohbear, Kenji, Woodsy, Figgy, Junebug, Fritz, Timber, Bibs, Nutmeg and Inky. They are all fun , sassy, spicy and a couple are nutty.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Someone who is patient, calm and kind. Has a friendly demeanor and is responsible. Have them explain how they care for there own pets.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
Meeting them and there pets and going over all the particulars. Understanding there cats routines and providing a list of things you plan to do..
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, I rarely go away over any major holidays so my schedule allows me to help others who need to go out of town .
What is your favorite cat toy?
Feather wand ! But squeaky little stuffed mice, krinkle..balls, and catnip are usually a instant hit. Foldable play cat tunnels are a lot of fun too.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I approach them calmly, with a soft voice and let them snif my hand and often use churu treats to get them to relax around me.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
