What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

For the past two years, I've been happily working as a cat sitter, providing both convenient in-home drop-in visits and comfortable cat boarding in my home, whatever best suits the cat owners. Being a cat parent myself to a wonderful ten-year-old and a playful four-year-old has given me invaluable insight into their needs. I've also had the privilege of caring for cats of all ages, including a truly lovely twenty-year-old, which was a very rewarding experience.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Being a cat parent to Mr. Meow Meow, my ten-year-old male companion, and Cleo, my playful four-year-old female, has been an invaluable learning experience.

Annie did a wonderful job looking after our cat Oliver! She was very communicative and easy to deal with. She got complicated instructions we left for her immediately without any further explanation. And she sent us multiple photos and videos of our kitty while we were away to ensure us that he was doing A-Ok! It was a treat and a huge relief to see all those pics and that he was doing fine without us. I would definitely trust Annie to look after our cat anytime, and would recommend the same to anyone else!

Annie was a purr-fact cat sitter. She came twice to feed shmoopy while I was gone and gave me updates each time. Shmoopy was very calm when I got back which means that Annie took the time to play with her. I booked Annie for the 20 min sessions. The litter was clean. No accidents. Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
