What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve cat sit for friends, neighbors and coworkers, ranging from single cats to multiple cats and including indoor and outdoor cats. The first time I cat sat was in high school so I have been doing it for over 15 years.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I like interacting with new cats and cat owners and learning different cat personalities and characteristics. It’s also fun to play with cats and just generally be in their presence.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I would want to understand their temperaments and any special needs or quirks they have in order to best service them. I’d also want to know what to avoid doing and what the cats are not allowed to do or have, or any place in the home they should not be in. Of course I’d want to know logistics of what they eat, how often they need to be fed, where to empty their litter, if they like physical affection, and any of their favorite toys or treats.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! Unless I normally stay local during the holidays so am available during Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years etc. I make sure to update my calendar availability regularly as well.

Carolyn eagerly accepted taking on my 3 cat household. she is super sweet and gentle with the cats. I had one cat that required special food and another that was a kitten. She made sure the cat with dietary needs had everything he required and spent a lot of time playing with the kitten. of which I’m sure really appreciate the play time! Carolyn also went above and beyond and swept the house and brought the mail is. I received photos and updates daily from her and she was really quick to message me and reply to my questions.

She took good care of my kitties, even played with them. Did some extra stuff that she didnt have to do ie vacuum around the litter box. She's a nice person overall, my kitties warmed up to her pretty fast, i would ask her to take care of my kitties again next holiday 😊

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Rancho Cucamonga cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $30.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
