I have cared for cats my entire life. I truly love all animals, but cats have always held a special place in my heart. I have one 13 year old cat, Sydney, that I adopted when she was 3. She is my little fur baby. Growing up, my parents always had at least two cats in our household. All of my family members and close friends share their homes with cats. Not a day goes by without multiple cat pictures being sent my way ! 😁

I'm a registered nurse, so caring, patience, trust and clear communication are all in my nature... I have cared for cats my entire life. I'm a registered nurse, so caring, patience, trust and clear communication are all in my nature. I have been pet / cat sitting / house sitting on the side for many years now. I am pet CPR/first aid certified. I can give medications safely to your kitty. I strive towards making sure everything is all set for you cat while you are away; clean litter box, food given per your directions, water changed each visit, clean eating area, quality time spent (playing, petting, brushing, relaxing, of course all on kitty's terms !), and safely inside your home at all times.

I am fully vaccinated and boosted. I will wear my mask or no mask; whatever you feel more comfortable with, just let me know your preference. Hand sanitizer lives in my car :)

I love meeting new cats and experiencing their unique personalities ! Cats are my spirit animal, such a joy to care for !

I have one cat, Sydney, who's 17. I adopted her when she was 4 years old. She's my little baby

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

We always have meet and greet at the pet parents home, free of charge ! This allows everyone to make sure it's the right fit and to go over details of the care needed for the cat(s)

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I let them sniff my hand and I see if the cat wants to be pet or not. I never force the cat, I always allow the cat to come to me. I give anxious cats the time and space to warm up to me.

Couldn’t possibly ask for more. Stephanie showed up each day as scheduled and spent time with our 19 year old kitty. She gave her Churru treats, cleaned up litter, food, and any messes, and sent lots and lots of pictures. Just perfect!

I’m beyond greatful I found Steph on here. We wouldn’t have been able to go on our family vacation if it wasn’t for her help. I have 4 long haired Persian & Himalayans so they are a bit of high maintenance though super sweet. Steph went above and beyond she made time to brush them and clean little Pearl’s eyes. Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
