When I rescued a Bengal 8 years ago I learned what it was to have to commit to a training program. He came violent and frustrated... And I understand it’s probably the same for you. This is exactly why I treat these babies like the heads of the household that they are. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to meet new cats and there is nothing I’d rather be doing than hanging out with a bunch of cats making a ruckus of play. I’ve been rescuing animals for 4 decades and wouldn’t change a thing. I’ve learned more about being human by trying to relate to cats than sitting for any lecture on the subject in nursing school.
When I rescued a Bengal 8 years ago I learned what it was to have to commit to a training program. He came violent and frustrated. I put my head down and got to work when I realized if I got rid of him he might not find a person more patient than myself, and that could possibly be his end, and I couldn’t have that. I spent years listening to him, working with him, and training him, and there is no greater victory(outside of raising my kids right). It’s not just cats, I also volunteer at the local horse rescue. So it’s safe to say I just love animals, and time spent with them is valuable.
I’m a very regimented human and like to get clear expectations of what each pet parent expects, so you won’t worry, and can relax while you’re away. I believe it’s important for a person to have updates, because let’s face it, these guys are what keeps most of us humans heads calm and collected daily, and leaving, even for a few days can be more disruptive for owners than their pets. Open communication is my strong point and I’m always happy to answer questions relating to your pets.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes, 2 Edgar Allen (the cats) Poejamas- my Bengal, I suspect he’s definitely writing dark poetry when I go to sleep at night. He’s 10 years old, and even though he’s the softest cat I’ve ever felt won’t snuggle 😩 Kimchi/aka Cheese- domestic Bob who was bottle fed as a kitten after being found at a day old without a mom. He’s clingy without being smothering aka furry baby. He is 4 years old and is the best hider cat I’ve ever met.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Make sure they can meet your expectations. Have them meet your pets first so the sitter can see the cat in it’s comfortable state, to differentiate if the cat is stressed when their humans aren’t present and can adjust accordingly.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I’m a check the locks 4 times, make sure there is no hazards in the cats environment, clean up all messes kind of human. I do it daily with my own pets and y’all and your cats deserve the same respect.

I booked Kate for 4 days and things couldn't have gone any smoother. A meet & greet served as an introduction to my girls and answered all questions. Upon meeting her, I could feel her true love for animals and knew my girls would be in wonderful hands. Kate visited, cared for them, and messaged each day with pictures. Knowing that I can travel and leave them at home in great hands puts my mind at ease. So happy to have found her!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
