My name is BonnieJean and I am a fellow "kitty-owned human". I certainly come kitty approved. My furbaby, ZoeeMarie, has made sure that I am 100% kitty-trained in the art of num‐nums feeding (both canned food and dry food), treat-treat distributing for good kitty behavior, fuzzy mouse tossing, feather wand waving, fur petting, belly-rubbing (exactly two or the biting will commence), kitty brushing, and litterbox cleaning. I am super cat friendly and usually am befriended quickly by other feline babies. Many of my friends have had me cat-sit their furbabies throughout the years because their kitties accepted me so quickly.

I became kitty and kitten-certified when I was a child and lived on a home-based farm. My love for kitties and my kitty-guided experience were an asset the years I helped foster abaondoned kittens and feral cats. I happily bottle fed and "mommy cleaned" kittens until they were old enough to be adopted into their furever home (though it is bitter-sweet to have them grow and leave the nest 💓) I also helped rejuvenate and socialize adult kitties.
I recently became recertified in the kitten care of bottle feeding and "mommy cleaning" when I rescued a tiny ball-of-fuz from the middle of the road (a thorough search found no other littermates or mommy cat). Grayson-Dash has now become a sweet, but crazy, part of our feline-contolled family. 😸
I drive for Uber/ Lyft; when I am not spoiling my fuzzy, fluffy, feline overlords. ZoeeMarie and I travel a lot, so my Adventure Kitty is amazing and keeps me well trained. (Yes, she has ME trained enough to put her on leash and travel to different states with her.) I am currently working on socializing Grayson-Dash and our first trip away was a success. My schedule does change a bit, but I always make sure to complete my promised kitty appointments. Because I drive all day, my times to cat-sit are flexible. I also believe in keeping the kitty parents updated while they are away from their feline babies - nothing is sweeter than a picture or message during the day when you are missing their crazy antics.
You have many choices on who can help take care your furbaby, however, if you would like a pawesome and purrtastic cat sitting for your treasured feline furbaby, schedule meow; both you and your kitty will be happy you did.
Kitty-trained services you will receive:
* Complimentary 'first meet & greet' is requested so you can show me the exact way your furbaby/furbabies likes to be spoiled.
* Dry and/or canned food given per your exact instructions. Low food reminder sent if needed.
* Cleaning of used food bowls and utensils, so your baby/babies have clean diningware and you come home to a clean house.
* Check, clean, refill of water as needed. Exact water requested will be used.
* Cleaning of litter box/boxes and removal of waste and trash. Low litter reminder sent if needed.
* Cuddle-bugging, fur pets, belly-rubbing, ear or hindquarter scratches; whatever your furry housemate(s) desire, like, or request shall be my top priority while in your home.
* Playing, cat-fishing, and other silly kitty games will be played with pleasure.
* Pictures and updates sent per visit, so you can enjoy your trip without worrying about your precious feline baby/babies. Plus there is nothing better than receiving pictures of your beautiful fuzzy baby/babies while you are away from them.
* Medicines can be given, with prior agreement - subcutaneous (SQ) fluid, insulin injections, blood/sugar test,, oral pills/drops, eye and/or ear drops given as needed (even wound care if needed). You won't have to worry about your kitty's special needs while you are away.
* Many of my furbabies have enjoyed the hypnotic display of a fish tank, so I have been kitty-trained for fish feeding.
* I'm a green thumb, so indoor plants can also be watered while you are away. You should come home to happy and healthy kitties and plants.
* Mail and/or package retrieval an added bonus from home mailbox.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been with Meowtel for almost 4 years. However, I have kitty sat for my friends, neighbors, and coworkers (and all their friends and family) since I have been old enough to drive. (About 35 years) I also grew up on a farm, so animal care has been part of my life since a very young child. I was born into a Cat Family, so I like to say that I was "Born to be a Cat Person".
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
THE KITTIES! (I personally feel that anyone that says anything different shouldn't be a kitty sitter.) I am such a cat person! So much so, that I have been to other states and countries to see and experience some amazing things. But when a kitty is found, I will stop what I am doing, just to pet and talk to the kiitty. Feral or humanfied, I stop, sit on the ground, and give my time to that kitty or kitties. I love each unique personality and character. I will, and have, given up my personal meal to feed a hungry kitty. I can honestly say that every cell of my body loves cats and only want what's best for them.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
Can I tell you about my favorite kitty sitting reservation? I honestly can not, because every and any sitting where the kitty or kitties interact with me is my favorite. I have had all different types of kitties and kitty situations. I love being able to pet and cuddle with your kitty. If they are more standoffish, I will still do my best to befriend your kitty. I have had parents tell me that their kitty never likes people and a few days later, I am sending pictures of us cuddling. My favorite reservation is the one that the kitty deems me worthy of their attention! 😻
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Do I have kitties myself? Well... there are two kitties that allow me in their home to pay the bills and spoil them. Let's be honest - I work hard so my kitties can live the good life! LOL ZoeeMarie is my 14-year old long-haired Tuxedo. She is our travelbug when we're in the RV. Grayson-Dash is our "newest" addition, having rescued him from the road. He is already bigger than Zoee. His blue coat is gorgeous and he knows it. (I call him the Monster. Trust me, if you knew him, you'd agree.) I have only been without my own kitty for one year of my life and that was because the loss of my 17-year old Rajah-Lynn broke my heart - she had been with me for so much in my early life. My heart needed to heal, so I helped foster kitties during that time instead.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Read their reviews and profile well, look through their pictures. Don't be afraid to message them and ask questions. Even ask to talk with them on the phone. When you find the sitter you think is the one for you, setup a Meet & Greet in advance enough, that if you do not feel comfortable enough with the sitter's knowledge or do not like them, then you can cancel and find the correct sitter for your furbabies. You are stressed enough getting ready for your trip, you shouldn't be stressed about the person you are entrusting with the care of your sweet babies. Your kitties deserve the best care.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
My first is always being friendly and honest. I work hard to be as quick as possible when answering questions posed to me. I read what they have posted in their kitties' profile and reach out as soon as a request comes in and start planning our Meet and Greet. I take notes during my visit, especially if the kitty is a special needs kitty, ask questions, and make sure to review all the care expected. I also give suggestions, if possible, from my years of having and working with sick kitties. I make sure to interact with the kitties with the parent onlooking to develop trust between all of us.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Not to be cliche, but the safety of your kitty starts with you. I am a stickler about your kitty's vet information. I am an outdoors girl and you learn fast that it's "Best to have and not need, than need and not have". I tell all kitty parents that when an emergency happens that is not the time when I need to try to figure out where to take your kitty. I WILL take them to the closest vet or my vet (if they are close) if it is not filed out. Your cats health is my top priority. I also work daily to be able to pickup your kitty - your kitty has to feel safe enough to let me pick them up in an emergency. Even if the Kitty only lets me pick it up for a second, at least your baby knows the I am gentle.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Well, Meowtel considers just about everything a Holiday, so I'm a YES on over 90% of their holidays. I am from the Tampa Bay Area, so if we are going "home" to visit family (2 hours away), I usually take care of all my kitty sittings early in the morning (before heading West), spend the night away, and then take care of all my kitty sittings late the next evening upon my return. If you have a Holiday in mind, contact me and I'll let you know my availability. 😺 Also contact me if you need Overnight Sittings for your special-needs kitty - I will approve them on a case to case basis. What is your favorite cat toy?
Whatever toy the kitty, or kitties, I am caring for will play with. It's about the kitties and not me. Though I have found that most kitties respond best to a wand toy - gives you and them enough space to play, even of they are too shy to let you touch them. Usually, even the most shiest of kitties will overcome their fear and play. This builds trust and friendship. THAT is my favorite cat toy!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I talk to them and play with them. I will take the time to get to know their personality. I have sat next to a kitty while she was eating, showing her I was kitty-friendly. I have laid on the floor, playing with a kitty while they hid under the bed. I have sat on the floor, gently talking to a kitty that growled at me. I will show them that I am trustworthy enough for their time. Most kitties warm up to me. If I feel that a kitty and I did not bond well, I will ask the parent for a new meeting the next time they book. This way the kitty can interact with us both and be less stressed.

BonnieJean is AMAZING! We had a cat sitter in the past but they weren’t as transparent and sharing of information as BonnieJean is. She’ll meet with you first to let you know exactly what to expect. She sent us pictures of our Ragdoll babies everyday, washed their dishes and fountain, changed the litter robot bag, and, most importantly, loved on our girls the whole time she was there. We felt so relaxed that they were being so well taken care of! When we got home, packages were brought inside (and there were ALOT of them!) and there was an adorable crayon picture “from the kitties” welcoming us home. I already have another trip booked and will definitely be requesting her…no questions!! I can’t imagine anyone else taking care of our babies!

Bonniejean is a Godsend! she really is the cat whisperer! I was terrified of leaving my kitten and going on a trip for an entire week. My kitten is very timid and not used to different people in the house but Bonniejean not only was able to break the ice with her but soon enough they were cuddling! Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Kissimmee cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

I genuinely cannot recommend BonnieJean enough! She has extensive knowledge in anything and all things related to cats (I truly trust her more than my vet) I never knew what kind of breed my kitty was, and within 10 minutes of meeting Skye, she nailed that she was a diluted tortie blue point Siamese! BonnieJean went above and beyond any sitter that I have ever had for my cat. She sent ample photos, detailed daily check-ins, and cleaned everything each time she visited. She truly loves what she does and it shows! I recommend her to EVERYONE and will NEVER have another cat sitter besides her again!! BonnieJean is a cat whisperer!!

BonnieJean was an absolute delight to have take care of my furry overlords during my work trip! I admittedly reserved her care kind of last minute and over a holiday, but she was super flexible and exceeded my expectations. Not only did her, my roommate, and I get along wonderfully, both of my babies enjoyed her company (including my super shy girl!) and my anxiety of leaving them with someone that wasn't family was quelled with how many photos and updates BonnieJean provided us. Every visit was followed up with a list of tasks she completed during her time with picture proof, and lots of photos/videos of her loving on my babies. Bonniejean is a fantastic sitter for our babies. Not only does she send tons of photos and go above and beyond for each visit (lots of attention, playing, full food and water resets and extra cleaning besides!) but she actually identified that our little boy (Tic-Tac) was having a health issue. We followed up with our vet and he's on a treatment now but her keen eye spotted the issue! Cannot recommend enough. We love having her care for our furbabies!

She is awesome! This is the first time I didn’t have to worry about my kitties while I was on vacation! She sends pictures everyday and send a list of things she did while she was at my house. She plays with all the cats that want attention and cleans up all the litter boxes and all dishes! She sweeps up around the cat dishes and litter boxes. Bonniejean was fantastic!! Both our cats absolutely loved her- even one that is traditionally shy around strangers. She had them both cuddling up in her lap for pets on the first day of meeting with them. Bonniejean has cat-sat for us twice now. One time was scheduled and one for an emergency. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful she is! We picked her at first because we have a geriatric cat that is needs attention. Bonniejean has a background with special needs cats and within the first few conversations I knew she was the cat sitter for us. Torque was happy to see her and with all the attention he received. She cleaned auto food bowls, along with water bowls, scooped litter, and cleaned out the litter genie. She cleans any equipment and surface she uses. The second time she sat for us was an emergency. Bonniejean was great and helped out where she could and recommended people that she trusted to help take care of Torque while I was out of state. We are so happy with her and will use her as long as we live in the area and have cats.

BonnieJean is an absolute treasure. She has always gone above and beyond, for my cats, my house, and me personally. I exclusively book her for all my travel needs and I would not want it any other way. She’s super attentive to my cats needs and proactively contacts me whenever she notices anything different from the last visit’s routine, just to double check any changes. She will notice when my neighbors put their trash bins to the curb and take mine out as well, without me asking. She cleans and leaves my house looking better than how I left it, and I’m always greeted with a sweet note from her when I return home. She provides my cats with lots of attention and play time, and works with my shy/high-maintenance ones in order to get them comfortable being picked up in case she ever needs to pack them up for an emergency vet visit. She truly cares for my cats and does absolutely everything she can to ensure their safety and happiness, and I could not appreciate that any more than what I do. BonnieJean is the only cat sitter I use, and I don’t plan on changing that.

BonnieJean is a 1000/100 cat sitter. I was very nervous to leave my cat while I went away for two weeks, having never left him alone in the seven years I’ve had him. She went above and beyond in our meet and greet to calm my anxieties before leaving and completely won over my cat Bug. She did an exceptional job caring for him and my home and again went above and beyond taking care of everything while I was away and sent very detailed updates so I wouldn’t worry. BonnieJean “speaks cat”— she knows exactly how to get on their level and cares for them how you would if you were home. This was the first time I’ve used a kitty sitter from an app! I was honestly a bit nervous bc I have a diabetic kitty and I was hoping to find someone who has experience with this- and I was lucky enough to see BonnieJean right away. It was an immediate no-brainer decision, and I was even more confident after our meet and greet! The biggest problem I have with my diabetic kitty is that he doesn’t trust strangers and it’s a huge problem sometimes just to get him to eat. And obviously he needs to eat in order to get his shot. BonnieJean got him to eat all of his meals and get all of his medicine. She also went above and beyond by sending me a lot of photos and video updates and handling things in a super pro way. She for sure went above and beyond and I’m so happy that I can trust her with my cats when I leave out of town again.

BonnieJean is the most incredible cat sitter we’ve ever encountered - she will do whatever it takes to ensure the safety and happiness of your fur babies while you are away. She truly went above and beyond in caring for our senior/special needs kitties over the last week. She was cat sitting for us when a hurricane/tropical storm was heading in the direction of our home. She didn’t miss a beat and immediately worked to secure our home and prepare for the worst case scenario. I still can’t believe the amount of effort and dedication she put into it, but she literally prepared our home for all possible contingencies - even for the aftermath, and ensured we had supplies once we returned home. She literally treated our fur babies as if they were her own and did everything in her power to ensure they remained safe and happy. Beyond her ability to think quickly in emergency situations, our kitties became best friends with her almost immediately - despite the fact that they are typically skittish when first meeting strangers. They absolutely adore her! She did an amazing job administering their medications twice daily and followed through with every special needs request without any issues. She was really creative in coming up with methods to encourage our 17-year-old to eat as much as possible. Our kitties loved their daily play time and enjoyed every minute with her. She was incredible with communication throughout the entire week - sending thorough updates with photos/videos after each visit. And of course, spending more time communicating when we found out about the approaching storm. She did everything in her power to try to ease both our stress, as well as the kitties’ stress. Your cats couldn’t possibly be in better hands! BonnieJean is simply amazing - it’s clear just how much she loves and respects your pets, as if they were her own. We feel so grateful to have found her. ❤️

I had Bonniejean for what was to be 4 visits over 3 days. I was having surgery and ended up having to stay, unexpectedly, a 3rd night. She was great at adding in a last minute visit and made the stress of the entire surgery process a lot less stressful for me. She sent great pictures, one that I had to use as my Facebook profile picture (and everyone loves) and her daily updates kept me from worrying. One of my cats is diabetic, so her being there was just more than scooping the box and feeding them. I trusted her fully with it all. I will absolutely use her services again when needed. Both of my cats loved her too, so major bonus points there!

BonnieJean did an amazing job. We were going on vacation for a few days and needed someone to stop over twice during the week. Before we left she came over to meet the cats and learn where everything was; even taking notes on the names and look of each cat, and their favorite toys. Then while we were gone she went above and beyond by cleaning up a few sick spots that one of the cats left (something she def. Didn’t have to do). We also received photos of all the babies and pictures of refilled water and food bowls. Having someone come over was a huge help for us. We will absolutely be using her again.

BonnieJean is the best pet sitter ever! I have a blind senior cat that she took excellent care of, and gave him his daily medicine. We were able to go on vacation, knowing that he would be in good hands. While on vacation, she sent detailed updates along with great pictures of all the cats so that our daughters could see that they were doing fine and having fun while we were gone. Upon our return, BonnieJean left us very nice notes, as well as funny “welcome home” signs from the cats! We would not hesitate to use her again! She is a special lady who has the ability to intuitively understand and communicate with all kitties. A rare gift that cats immediently respond to if they pick up on a positive intuitive energy vibration. BONNIE loves all cats as if they are extended family. She is responsive and diligent. Cleanly. And follows instructions precisely. If there is things you need done a certain way. You must communicate directly to her so she knows the small details. I forgot a few things but it didn't matter. She loved my babies. Kept the kitchen clean and spent time with them so they werent lonely. She was able to warm my Billy up to her. She takes such good care of my kitties, gives meds, provides lots of pics and updates, and eases all my anxiety when I travel.
