My cat loved making friends with Henfri! Henfri took great care of kitty and likely spoiled him a bit! Henfri let kitty lounge outside (which is his favorite thing to do during the day) while she changed his water, scooped the liter and gave him food. Kitty was very pleased with lots of pets and being brushed that he keeps asking when she will be back:) I will definitely call Henfri when we vacation again.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I’ve been pet sitting for 6 years, but my love for cats goes back much further. I grew up helping my aunt care for strays; We often had 20 cats coming in and out of the house, and they always seemed to find their way onto my lap. Later on, I began cat sitting for friends and my husband’s family, providing feeding, playtime, and lots of affection. Now, as a proud cat mom of 4, caring for cats is truly part of my everyday life. I love them deeply, and I always treat every cat I meet with the same patience and care I give my own. 💕

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love meeting so many cats. I love cats so, I’m just happy meeting new babies. Spending time with them, petting them and playing with them is my passion hehe💕 I also love meeting new people so that’s a plus! Honestly I just love everything about it.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?

Oh I love all my cat supervisors. But honestly I loved to spend time with my little 18 years old sophisticated gentleman. He was the sweetest and nicest ever, he just wanted to enjoy somebody’s company and be on his little catio all day long. I would even stay longer just to let him enjoy the weather and his sunbathing.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have four cats of my own, two kittens: Bubbles and Nube. Two adults: Cookie and Cream. Bubbles and Nube are social butterflies, while Cookie and Cream are shy. Cream is a timid and anxious kitty, she’s always scared for her life, but so sweet. They are my whole world. Before them, I was lucky to share my life with three wonderful cats who sadly passed away of old age.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

If you’re looking for a cat sitter, I’d say the most important thing is to find someone who truly loves and cares for your baby. Someone who enjoys spending time with cats, pays attention to their personalities, and treats them with kindness and patience. Your cats deserve to feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away, and the right sitter will make that happen naturally, with lots of gentle care and affection. 💕

What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?

I reply to messages as soon as I can. Before 10 AM it may take me a bit longer, but after that I usually answer quickly. Once you contact me, I’ll ask a few questions and confirm your reservation. After that, we schedule a free cat introduction so your baby can hear my voice, smell me, and feel comfortable before the real visits begin. When I arrive at your home, I’ll ask where the food, litter boxes, treats, toys, and cleaning supplies are. If you live in a gated community, you’ll need to add me as a guest. Since my husband drives me while I get my license, his name may need to be added, but he stays in the car the whole time you never see him out. For every visit, I’ll let you know when I’m on my way, and after I finish, I send updates about everything.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes I am, I don’t have a lot of family around anymore so holidays for me are great if I can spend it doing what I love. So, yes! Holiyays available!!! Plus you might even get a little present from me on Christmas!

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I have a very anxious cat myself, so I understand how sensitive they can be. I always move quietly, take my time, and let the cat set the pace. When I arrive, I speak softly so they can get used to my voice, and I let them come to me when they’re ready. I avoid sudden movements, follow their routine, and watch their body language closely. My goal is always to help them feel safe, calm, respected and happy in their own home.
