When you book with me, you’ll receive the basic services, plus, if you’re comfortable with it, I go the extra mile by picking up your mail, cleaning and disinfecting the cat area (litter box, surrounding floors, and litter mats) as needed, and helping with plant watering (plant watering 45 -60 mins only). I’ll also provide plenty of pictures, occasional videos, and detailed daily updates.
I DO NOT TRIM NAILS but my friend does home pet grooming if you need help.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I’ve been pet sitting for 6 years, but my love for cats goes back much further. I grew up helping my aunt care for strays; We often had 20 cats coming in and out of the house, and they always seemed to find their way onto my lap. Later on, I began cat sitting for friends and my husband’s family, providing feeding, playtime, and lots of affection. Now, as a proud cat mom of 4, caring for cats is truly part of my everyday life. I love them deeply, and I always treat every cat I meet with the same patience and care I give my own. 💕
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love meeting so many cats. I love cats so, I’m just happy meeting new babies. Spending time with them, petting them and playing with them is my passion hehe💕 I also love meeting new people so that’s a plus! Honestly I just love everything about it.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
Oh I love all my cat supervisors. But honestly I loved to spend time with my little 18 years old sophisticated gentleman. He was the sweetest and nicest ever, he just wanted to enjoy somebody’s company and be on his little catio all day long. I would even stay longer just to let him enjoy the weather and his sunbathing.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have four cats of my own, two kittens: Bubbles and Nube. Two adults: Cookie and Cream. Bubbles and Nube are social butterflies, while Cookie and Cream are shy. Cream is a timid and anxious kitty, she’s always scared for her life, but so sweet. They are my whole world. Before them, I was lucky to share my life with three wonderful cats who sadly passed away of old age.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
If you’re looking for a cat sitter, I’d say the most important thing is to find someone who truly loves and cares for your baby. Someone who enjoys spending time with cats, pays attention to their personalities, and treats them with kindness and patience. Your cats deserve to feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away, and the right sitter will make that happen naturally, with lots of gentle care and affection. 💕
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I reply to messages as soon as I can. Before 10 AM it may take me a bit longer, but after that I usually answer quickly. Once you contact me, I’ll ask a few questions and confirm your reservation. After that, we schedule a free cat introduction so your baby can hear my voice, smell me, and feel comfortable before the real visits begin. When I arrive at your home, I’ll ask where the food, litter boxes, treats, toys, and cleaning supplies are. If you live in a gated community, you’ll need to add me as a guest. Since my husband drives me while I get my license, his name may need to be added, but he stays in the car the whole time you never see him out. For every visit, I’ll let you know when I’m on my way, and after I finish, I send updates about everything.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
When I’m cat sitting, your kitties are always my top priority. I make sure doors and windows are safely closed and keep a gentle, watchful eye on each kitty’s health and happiness. I also make sure their space feels calm, cozy and comforting. I treat your babies like they’re my own, so you can relax knowing they’re loved and looked after🥰
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes I am, I don’t have a lot of family around anymore so holidays for me are great if I can spend it doing what I love. So, yes! Holiyays available!!! Plus you might even get a little present from me on Christmas!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I have a very anxious cat myself, so I understand how sensitive they can be. I always move quietly, take my time, and let the cat set the pace. When I arrive, I speak softly so they can get used to my voice, and I let them come to me when they’re ready. I avoid sudden movements, follow their routine, and watch their body language closely. My goal is always to help them feel safe, calm, respected and happy in their own home.

Henfri was so attentive to our elderly cat. He is usually shy but warmed to Henfri instantly. She gave us detailed reports every day she watched him with a lot of pictures too. It gave us a lot of peace of mind. Henfri went above and beyond and took care of a house issue that arose and also kept the cat areas neat and tidy and also watered my plants and brought in my mail. She is a delightful person and we will definitely be using her cat sitting services again.

Henfri was AMAZING. she definitely has a special gift with cats. on day two, my usually timid cat was already giving her cuddles and head rubs! She made sure our cats were taking care of, but also that our house was tidy. One of our cat wasn’t feeling well and she noticed it. She took the time to bring him to the vet. I had total confidence in her. She gave them so much love. She also give detailed updates and pictures and they are truly appreciated. I will recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter in a heartbeat and will definitely be using her services again in the future.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Wellington cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
