What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I have had many wonderful clients! I have been cat-sitting for friends and family for two years, and now I cat-sit for clients too. I also volunteer at the humane society of northeast georgia, where I socialize and play with cats and dogs! I grew up with cats my entire childhood, so I know how stressful it can be to find the perfect sitter! Fear not, I am here! 💗

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I love the quirky personalities cats have! They can be so silly and it just puts a huge smile on my face. I also love when they play with toys and get excited when they see them! It’s the cutest thing and I also love the reactions the owners give me after I sent cute photos of their cats! Personally, I have had a cat sitter before and the pictures she sent of my cats made my entire vacation! I love to brighten the owners day, it brightens mine! 🐈‍⬛

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

Yes! I have the two most loveliest fur-babies! They are both female cats named Chaka and Tinsel! Chaka was named after a character from an old movie, and she is super smart! Tinsel was named after a christmas decoration and is so cuddly! I adopted them both from the shelter I volunteer at, the Humane Society of North East Georgia! They are very dear to my heart and are always around me. I don’t know who I would be without my cats, so I’m very grateful for them! Chaka has asthma, but is on an inhaler and she is doing amazing! Tinsel has a special diet needed for her sensitive stomach, so I put a lot of thought into her food and she loves it! I also spoil them way too often, but how could I not? 🤗💗

How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?

1. I make sure the cat(s) are able to investigate me and get to know me. I approach slowly and put my hand out. It’s important to introduce yourself to a cat! 2. Once the cat knows me, I am able to approach closer and watch the cat closely. I have a sharp eye, especially for anything wrong in a cat. I notice the tiniest cat sneeze! 3. I assess when needed, for example cpr, the heimlich, or clearing the airways. In less serious circumstances, I obviously take a picture of the cat and take note of anything odd. 4. I tell the owners EVERYTHING. Trust me, you will know immediately if something goes wrong or your kitty starts to act even a little odd!

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
