Over the years, I’ve cared for cats of all ages, from kittens to seniors, and I’m comfortable administering medications, cleaning litter boxes, handling hairballs and accidents, and providing the extra patience some cats need... Cats have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I truly can’t imagine my life without them! I currently have two beloved kitties of my own, including my 17-year-old senior kitty.
Over the years, I’ve cared for cats of all ages, from kittens to seniors, and I’m comfortable administering medications, cleaning litter boxes, handling hairballs and accidents, and providing the extra patience some cats need. I also have past experience fostering cats and helping capture kitties, which has given me experience working with cats who may be shy, anxious, scared, or unsure of new people.
I understand that every cat has their own personality and boundaries. Some want to be your best friend immediately, while others need time and space before they decide you’re worthy of their attention! I’m happy to meet them where they are.
Now that I’m retired, I have the opportunity to spend my time doing something I genuinely love: caring for animals. My cats are family to me, and when someone trusts me with their kitty, I want them to feel confident that their cat will be treated with the same love, patience, and care I give my own.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
Cats have been part of my life for as long as I can remember! I’ve cared for cats throughout my adult life and currently have two kitties of my own, including a 17-year-old senior. I have experience with kittens, seniors, administering medications, fostering, and working with cats who may be frightened, shy, or unsure of people. I’m now retired and excited to spend some of my extra time caring for other people’s beloved kitties.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I genuinely just love being around cats! I love getting to know their individual personalities because no two kitties are alike. Earning a cat’s trust is especially rewarding to me. Whether they want lots of playtime and cuddles or simply want someone quietly nearby while they feel me out, I’m happy to meet them where they are.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I follow the cat parent’s instructions carefully and always make sure doors, windows, gates, and other access points are secure. I’m especially mindful when entering and leaving so an adventurous kitty doesn’t slip through the door! I’ll follow feeding and medication instructions exactly, keep the litter area clean, and respect the home as carefully as I would my own. If anything seems unusual with your kitty or your home, I’ll communicate with you promptly.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
