It would be my pleasure to watch your kitties in any fragrance free homes! Due to sensitivities, I am unable to sit for homes that use synthetic fragrances at this time. A little about me; as a little girl we always had cats in the house. I used to find sticks and string and create my own cat toys as a child. I had a whole box of them that I stored under my bed. I like to engage and build trust with cats through play first. It’s been my experience when dealing with timid or shy cats-that bringing a little string out makes them forget about how nervous they are to be around you... It’s been my experience when dealing with timid or shy cats-that bringing a little string out makes them forget about how nervous they are to be around you. I always let a cat lead me with how comfortable they feel. I take things slow at first and gain trust over time.Then I add in the treats for snuggle time. I would say cats have been a obsession of mine throughout my life. I love talking to them and discovering each cat’s unique personality and what makes them feel safe and at ease in my presence. I have a strong respect for how clean cats like to be so I am diligent about the litter box. I have also fostered kittens from the Humane society giving them a safe place to recover from eye infections or upper respiratory infections to get them healthy for adoption. I have experience with administering medications as well.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

Every cat has their own personality. I find joy in figuring out what makes a cat feel safe. Trust is huge with cats, that is why I find it so rewarding when I am able to build trust and friendship.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

I have 1 cat and 1 dog in my home. My cat’s name is Bodhi and my dog’s name is Opal. Bodhi likes to go on walks with me and Opal. The Nieghbor’s absolutely love seeing the whole gang out together! Bodhi is a character and loves to verbally greet anyone who walks into the room. He also likes to greet us in the driveway when we return home-it’s such a joy!

What is your favorite cat toy?

I like to make my own toys out of bamboo sticks and twine. I always make fresh toys for every job, so there is no cross contamination of germs.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
