I was 4 years old when I befriended my first stray cat. At 25, I rescued and homed my first kitten. At 34, I began looking after a neighborhood stray colony upon the passing of their previous caretaker.
Cats have always been a driving force in my life.
Because of my background in rescue, I am also comfortable around more diffic... My name is Samantha and it is lovely to meet you.
I was 4 years old when I befriended my first stray cat. At 25, I rescued and homed my first kitten. At 34, I began looking after a neighborhood stray colony upon the passing of their previous caretaker.
Cats have always been a driving force in my life.
Because of my background in rescue, I am also comfortable around more difficult little floofs. Whether for medical or personal reasons. I have nursed and/or hospiced those with FIV, Kidney Failure, and Pancreatic Cancer.
Available days or overnights, with me as your pet sitter, your cats welfare is most important. Litter box is scooped and food dishes are cleaned every visit.
Play, snuggles (or distant stares), I look forward to being your pets friend.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Ferrovax is my grumpy mini dragon and then we have an entire family from stray sisters (now TNR'd). Their names are Pixie, Gali, Snowball, Echo, Gussy, Fluffer, Jasmine and Leon.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
The door stays locked at all times. I will not answer for anyone unless you have previously cleared a delivery. All windows stay closed and locked unless you give the okay. In the event of a screened in window being open for airflow and/or cat enjoyment, neither window or cat will be left unattended.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I speak more quietly and with a higher pitch. Make myself smaller, try to sit below their head height so that they can observe me and be careful not make sudden movements that could startle.

I am so glad I had Samantha take care of my babies while I was out of town! She took excellent care of my two cats and the three foster cats at my home. She went above and beyond, keeping in contact with me and sending plenty of pictures of how everyone was doing and even tidying up the messes the cats made and even feeding my fish. She used my security system to keep my home safe and kept me from worrying while I was in a different state. Would definitely recommend Samantha's services!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
