Iām Jennifer, and cats have been a huge part of my life for many years. I currently share my home with several wonderful cats, each with their own unique personality, so I understand that every cat has different needs. Some love attention, while others need a little extra patience and spaceāand Iām comfortable with both.
Iāve cared for kittens, adult cats, and cats with special medical needs (diabetes), so Iām attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, litter box habits, and overall well-being. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust when youāre away, and I treat every cat as if they were my own.
When I care for your cat, Iāll make sure they receive plenty of love, fresh food and water, a clean litter box, playtime or quiet companionship (depending on what they enjoy), and lots of photo updates so you can relax knowing theyāre happy and well cared for.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
While Iām new to professional cat sitting, Iāve been caring for cats for most of my adult life and currently have a multi-cat household of my own. Over the years, Iāve cared for kittens, adult cats, senior cats, and cats with unique medical and behavioral needs. Living with multiple cats has taught me how different each catās personality can beāfrom outgoing lap cats to shy cats who prefer their space. Iām attentive to changes in eating habits, litter box use, and behavior, and I understand how important it is to provide consistent, loving care while their families are away. My goal is to treat every cat as if they were one of my own.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I enjoy most about cat sitting is getting to know each catās unique personality. Some cats greet you at the door and want to play, while others take a little time to warm upāand I love earning their trust. Thereās nothing more rewarding than seeing a shy cat become comfortable or making sure a cat feels safe and loved while their family is away. I also enjoy giving owners peace of mind by sending thoughtful updates and photos, so they know their cat is happy, healthy, and well cared for.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Many cats become shy or anxious when their family is away, and I never force interaction. I let each cat set the pace and work to earn their trust through patience, consistency, and a calm presence. Whether that means sitting quietly in the room, offering treats, engaging in play, or simply respecting their space, I adapt to what makes each cat feel most comfortable. I also pay close attention to their eating, drinking, litter box habits, and overall behavior so I can recognize if something seems out of the ordinary. My goal is for every cat to feel safe, secure, and cared for until their family returns.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
