I am 34 years old and live smack in the middle of Evansville. I moved here about two years ago and love the location (I actually just bought my first house last year!). For my day job, I am an environmental planner who works from home. I have a very flexible schedule. Most importantly, I have my own fur baby, Minerva. She is a medium/long hair grey cat who is a sweetheart but afraid of her own shadow. Gosh, I love her. Anyway.
For pet sitting, I am willing to visit your home 1-2 times a day to feed, water, play with, and clean up after your furchild... Hello there! My name Susan. I also go by Sus.

For pet sitting, I am willing to visit your home 1-2 times a day to feed, water, play with, and clean up after your furchild. Sadly, I cannot do overnights as I am actually minorly allergic to most-things-furry, so I can’t stay overnight with new pets. I am familiar with administering cat medications such as pills (hiding in treats/crushing) and ear drops. I also used to have a diabetic cat, so I have experience giving medical shots. I don’t squirm (too much) at poop or puke, and hairballs are a breeze. I love spending time with cats to play, pet, or talk to them.
Most importantly, I’m here to bring pet owners peace of mind when they are away from their pets. I completely understand the worry and how much you can miss a pet being away from home for even a few days. I am happy to send pictures or videos of your pets. I would be thrilled to look after a furbaby while their family is away.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have occasionally pet sit for my friends, probably about ten times in total over a decade. But I have my own cat and care for her day and night, and would put the same care into anyone else’s pet.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I always love coming in and spending time with the kitty (as much as they care to interact with me, at least). And I adore sending pics of the cats to their owners if they want ‘live’ updates—it’s always something I appreciate getting when I am away on trips, so I love doing it for others.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Many times, yes! Some of the larger holidays (like Christmas) I may be busy, but things like July 4 or Thanksgiving, I am usually around.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
My own fur baby is the poster child for being a Scardey Cat, so I am used to working with an anxious and timid cat. For others’ cats, I would give the cat space but check in on them to make sure they are doing alright. If the owner has any special instructions or requests to help with the cat’s anxiety, I would follow them to the letter.

Susan just eased right into my kits feeding rituals, and quirky behaviors. From the great pictures she took, you could easily see my kits become comfortable with her in their environment. My two kits are rescue kittens from a feral group. But Susan accepted their mischievous mishaps as normal status quo. I felt at ease every evening knowing she would be there giving them food and affection and allow them to find comfort in her presence.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
