In addition to the standard cat purrson skills of managing finicky eaters, maintaining a... Hi there, I'm Jennifer! I'm a cat mom of eight chaos gremlins. When I'm not catering to their every whim and demand, you can find me shopping at Petsmart, scrolling new finds on Chewy, attending cat shows, or designing cat-themed matching clothes to wear with my husband. Yep, we're those people. Before I adopted my own cats in 2020, I volunteered with a companion animal nonprofit group. I've also dabbled in TNR, rescue, and neonate fostering.
In addition to the standard cat purrson skills of managing finicky eaters, maintaining a litterbox routine, and engaging multiple cats in simultaneous positive play, I'm also comfortable clipping nails, giving topical and oral medications, giving eye/ear drops, treating minor skin wounds, and communicating with veterinary staff.
During my visits, you can expect lots of pictures and updates so you don't have to worry while you're away. I believe that the cat's safety, health, and happiness come first, so I will make sure that all needs are met and look for ways to engage and enrich the cat's experience in any way they allow--wave the feather wand? You got it. Sneak a pill in a treat? Can do. Spot-clean the litterbox? Sure thing. Sprinkle some catnip and chill? Heck yeah.

Are you usually available during holidays?
I'm usually available for drop-ins and short visits during holidays. I can try to accommodate specific drop-in times but may need some flexibility.
What is your favorite cat toy?
I really like using a ribbon wand to help cats burn off energy and engage their prey drive. Also, it's hilarious watching the butt wiggle/pounce combo.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
With timid or anxious cats, I let them get used to me by just sharing their space from a respectful distance and singing to them quietly. Once the cat understands I'm not a threat, I offer a treat and follow their lead about interaction. If they welcome pets or being held, I proceed with touch. If they aren't welcoming to touch, I continue to inhabit their space so they don't feel alone. When the cat leaves a hiding space or starts to exhibit desired behaviors, I reward it with praise and treats.

If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Zachary cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $23.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
