Cat Sitting in Chicopee, MA

Hey! I’m Kali, aka your cat’s go to human when you’re away. I’m there for cats of all ages to help them stay engaged, connected and make sure they’re getting the care they need while you’re away.

Whether they need care for a few days, a few hours, or a few weeks, I offer flexible scheduling to fit your schedule.

In my 7 years of cat sitting, I’ve gotten to meet and care for so many cats! Shy cats, rescue cats, super playful curious cats-I love working with them all, from little kittens to cats in their elder years. For me, making sure your cat feels safe is priority #1. It’s one of the best feelings when it clicks for a rescue/traumatized or really shy cat that they’re in the company of an ally and friend...

It’s one of the best feelings when it clicks for a rescue/traumatized or really shy cat that they’re in the company of an ally and friend.

From there, I love getting to know each cat’s personality and attuning to them to see how I can best serve them. Some can play endlessly, others get overstimulated, some bore easily, and others just want a quiet companion. I work with your cat’s temperament to provide them the best experience possible given their personality and health realities.

I am comfortable administering oral and topical medications. If your pet(s) requires a means of administration that I don’t have experience with, we will take time in advance to meet and make sure that I am able to successfully and confidently administer the medication. We want to make sure your kitty will be safe while you’re away!

Looking forward to meeting you and your cat(s)! I’m reachable if you have any questions or want to talk through your care plan before scheduling a sit.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?

I’ve been cat sitting for 7 years and have had cats for nearly my whole life. Friends, family, colleagues and friends of friends have been my primary clients, but I’m so grateful Meowtel exists to broaden the reach of cats I get to care for and meet.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

At this time I mostly enjoy the company of other people’s cats. My sweet girl, Alexis, was 15 when she passed away from kidney failure a few years ago. She was the spiciest, cutest and most loving tabby. Above all, she was my best friend. Now I get to spend a lot of quality time with my family’s cat, Simon. He’s a 10yo rescue tuxedo cat, and the purrfect example of the transformation that can happen for rescue cats when they’re in loving homes.

What is your favorite cat toy?

There are too many to name! I love figuring out what type of hunter a cat is, and choosing toys and games from there. But I will say…when cats like playing with a feather wand, that’s super fun for me.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

If it doesn't feel like a purrfect fit after a Meet & Greet or during a reservation, our support team is here to help at 1-844-Meowtel (1-844-636-9835). We'll take time to understand what happened and help you consider next steps, which could include help with a new reservation.

Chicopee cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $28.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.

Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.

We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.

Each visit typically includes: feeding, refreshing water bowls, litter box scooping, tidying up, medications, updates with photos, lots of playtime, and any special requests. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet!
