As a former frequent traveler, I understand how important it is to find a reliable cat sitter... Hi! Iām a seasoned cat mom with more than 25 years of experience caring for cats. I currently have two wonderful boys adopted from the Nantucket Animal Shelter. My previous cats lived until 18 so I have a lot of experience caring for senior cats, including those requiring special diets and medications.
As a former frequent traveler, I understand how important it is to find a reliable cat sitter. Whether your cat is playful and social or shy and independent, Iāll ensure they feel safe and cared for while youāre away so you can have peace of mind. I can help with feeding, fresh water, litter box care, playtime, medication if needed, and photo updates.
Availability
I am a working professional that primarily works remotely. My availability for part-time cat sitting would be in the early mornings or evenings after work in the greater Falmouth area. Weekends I have more flexibility.

Yes! 2 lovely brothers named Macho and Ishy! I adopted them at 7 months old from the Nantucket shelter in Jan 2022. Previously I had 2 cats that lived until 18ā before that my childhood cat. Cats most of my life š
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes I donāt tend to travel during holidays anymore. I am likely available and happy to discuss your holiday travel with you.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Having had a couple myself (one of my cats was feral and 2 were found in a bog in Nantucket - so semi feral!)I know they need space with new peopleā-I do not directly approach them and I let them come to me when they feel comfortable . Treats and toys help!

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
