Giza is a street cat from Egypt that I was lucky enough to adopt. He’s strong, kind, and loving, with the stinkiest breath and a pretty impressive snaggle tooth. He’s named after the place where the pyramids are. Fiona is very vocal, loves to snuggle, and loves heat. She’s strong-headed, super playful, and has a personality unlike any other cat I’ve met. She keeps me laughing. I adopted her when she was being rehomed because she was driving the resident cats crazy.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

For anyone new to hiring a cat sitter, my biggest advice is to look for someone with real cat experience. Cats are incredibly sensitive to change, so it’s important to choose a sitter who understands feline behavior, can follow detailed care instructions, and knows how to move at the cat’s pace. I’d also recommend asking about medication experience, emergency plans, and how often updates are provided. The right cat sitter should help both you and your cat feel safe and comfortable.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Usually, yes with advanced notice. I am very flexible in general. Cat care doesn’t stop because it’s a holiday similar the the humans I work with as an RN.

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:


  • More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
  • 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
  • Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
