I take care of a few of my friends cats every time they go away. Some need daily medications, some don’t. Some need a lot of love, some just want to be in the same room and not touched. Some have bad anxiety and need to be “poop whispered” as we call it. 🤣
Whatever your cats need, I will do whatever I can to make sure they are taken care of and treated like they’re my own!
I also will take pictures daily to send when you’re on vacation. That always makes me feel better when I’m away, being able to see my babies comfy.
Daily updates as well! Even when nothing exciting happened, I’ll still tell you how our day went!

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have 4! We have Leah, our oldest who just turned 18! She’s tiny but she is still healthy and going strong! She really loves lickables… she gets sometimes 20+ a day… she’s old, she deserves to get what she wants!!! Then we have my twins, Ross and Lilianna who are 13. They are my first cats I got myself. They’re my snuggle buddies when I’m home relaxing. And our youngest is Shilo! She is 8. And she has quite the personality 😅sometimes she wants to snuggle ON TOP of me but I’m not allowed to touch her or acknowledge her. Oh also, I have to carry her out of the bathroom every time I’m in there for even a millisecond. She won’t stop meowing and clawing at me to pick her up. I give in every time.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I always let them tell me about their personality. How do they do with new people who come to the house? How playful are they? Any special diet? Any medications? Is there a schedule you stick to? What do you expect from me as the cat sitter? I also try to make sure I have contact info for someone near by they know and trust in case something does happen, and the information for the animals Vets. If I have any concerns at all, especially if I don’t know the cat well, I always contact the parent and ask questions to see if it’s abnormal or not. I always make sure I come over at least once before the parent leaves to figure out where all the cats essentials are, and to see the cat. See how the cat reacts to me. And if the cat parent or myself decides I’m not the right fit, that’s ok.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I am usually available for every holiday as I don’t celebrate them myself. Only one that may be difficult is Memorial Day Weekend. I usually have an event I go to that weekend.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
