I am a lifelong cat owner and lifelong cat lover! Currently mama to Finnegan Maybeth. Finn, is a three year old orange tabby kitty. She is equal parts lovable cat and standoffish cat. Finnegan's favorite thing, besides me of course, is to play fetch with her plastic spring until one of us grows tired of it. It's usually me that stops the game. Her favorite time is when I ask her if she is ready to go "night night?" She jumps up and walks me to the bathroom and then to my bedroom. She is the cutest!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been with Meowtel for the last year. I have met awesome cats and cat owners! Each time I cat sit I learn something new and hone the cat sitting skills I already have. Each new cat sitting experience is unique in it's own way. I thoroughly enjoy getting to to know all of the cats and their different personalities.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love how each cat has different personalities just like humans. And I love learning those personalities and then doing my best to win the cat/s over.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
The love of my life, Finnegan Maybeth, an orange tabby cat who is soon to be three years old.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
Make sure you feel a good vibe with the sitter and that your cat connects with them. Go with your gut!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
Being myself and hopefully putting the owner and cat/s at ease. Keeping the lines of communication open. Asking any questions if anything is unclear.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I will treat all cats just as I would treat my own Finnegan Maybeth. I will spoil your fur baby.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes I am usually available during holidays. Especially when given advanced notice.
What is your favorite cat toy?
Love the little plastic springs. So cheap and provide hours or entertainment! Also the cat lasers are a lot of fun!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Give them space and move slowly to gain their trust and comfort. Let the cat/s come to me rather than me go to them.

Beth was a pleasure to work with. Communications are prompt and thorough. She tried diligently to medicate 2 of my three cats (pills) and my cats were not cooperative. One eventually ate the pill pockets for the few days we were gone but will no longer eat them so we are back to actively pilling her. Once cats bite into the enclosed bitter pill, they won't eat them anymore. Transdermal gel for both meds is in the cards for our next trip. Would I recommend Beth? Yes, in a heartbeat! I'm very happy to have found a pet sitter who is so good with my cats. Even my cat that usually hides made himself comfortable on Beth's lap!

From the moment we met, I felt completely at ease leaving my furry family in her capable hands. Beth clearly has a genuine connection with animals. She interacted wonderfully with all of my cats and sent regular picture updates, which I truly appreciated. It was clear she spent quality time with them, and it brought me so much peace of mind knowing they were getting the attention they needed. In addition, Beth efficiently managed the medications for my two older cats, which was a huge relief. Her communication throughout the entire process was excellent. Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Ann Arbor cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Super easy process of reserving through Meowtel.
