What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I was on and off being cat sitting before high school and I started cat sitting often after I graduated from college. I have been learning about cats' behaviors, personalities and even their preferences. I have a confident that I will definitely give them what they need then their furparents will have a peace of mind!
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Giving them a lot of attention and purring is a great way to know they love me! Even I enjoy playing their favorite toys or give them a favorite treat!
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
lot of affection! I love to give them attention and make sure they know I am here for them while their furparent are out of town.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I didn't have a kitten or cat due to my family members who are cat allergies but my son is so obsess with cats!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
To aware beside a cat sitting if they aren't along with a stranger and I will prepare like I come in like a human and mind my business. Importantly, to feed, to scoop, follow a routine and often there is a surprise for any cats who trust me very quickly! I am good at patient.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I listen to furparent and be assume to follow a care instructions and I will ask questions before, during and after my care.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
To knowledge their behaviors, personality and even medical conditions and their safety is a priority. I will make sure I understand their needs.
Are you usually available during holidays?
I'm opening for all holidays! I would like to know ahead of time and meet up to get know about cats.
What is your favorite cat toy?
Small stuffed animals and furry balls. I do like to follow what they like to play or get attention. I usually give a time to know their favorite toys/activities.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I would have to give them a space, sometimes I walk by and I show my hand for a sense. I will not use anything to make a noise that will scare them away. I have high patience.

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
