Libby, a shy but sweet 9-year-old domestic shorthair, takes her time warming up but is incredibly loving once she trusts you. Apollo, my 6-year-old Siamese, is curious, vocal, and full of character—always ready to explore or chat. And Henry, a 6-year-old domestic longhair, is a fluffy lovebug with a heart of gold. Life with them is full of cuddles, quirks, and quiet joy.

What is your favorite cat toy?

Catnip toys are my absolute favorite—there’s nothing better than watching a kitty go from calm to comically wild in seconds! Whether it’s a stuffed mouse, a crinkly banana, or a handmade kicker, I always bring a stash. It’s a great way to break the ice, spark some playtime, and see their silly side come out!

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I have a soft spot for timid cats. There’s something incredibly special about earning the trust of a shy kitty—it’s a quiet, gentle bond that builds over time. I’m always patient and respectful of their pace, giving them space, calm energy, and comforting routines. Whether it’s sitting nearby, offering a treat, or simply being a peaceful presence, I love helping them feel safe and seen.

If my cats could write a review, one would say “She knows my vibe and waits for me to make the first move before she tries to love on me. 10/10, would let scritch again.” And the other one would say “She gives me her undivided attention and provides endless pets. Which is perfect because it’s what I rightfully deserve.” But since I am the one who knows how to type, I will say this; Ashley is a cat person through and through! My two boys are on opposite sides of the cat-personality spectrum, and many folks don't know how to navigate interacting with them. Some push too hard to love on my shy one and end up stressing him out. Some don't know how to deal with my other boy, who just can't get enough love, and may get annoyed with him. Ashley, however, knows just how to read my boys and respects their needs and wants; she meets them exactly where they are. Both of them even come right up to her for pets, and one is very bashful! I completely trust Ashley to care for my boys, because I can see and feel the love and respect she has for cats. I know my boys would agree, because they love and respect her, too!

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
