When working with a new cat parent, I start with a detailed meet-and-greet to learn your cat’s personality, routines, preferences, and any special needs. I review feeding, litter, medication, and safety instructions, then confirm expectations in writing. During the stay, I provide consistent updates with photos, note any behavior changes, and follow your home guidelines precisely. My goal is to build trust, keep your cat comfortable, and ensure seamless, reliable care from the very first visit.

Are you usually available during holidays?

Yes! Holidays are likely an ideal time to arrange with me for sitting. This includes long weekends, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and the Christmas holiday through New Year.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

I love a shy kitty so much. Building trust with a shy animal is one of the most rewarding things in animal relationships. When sitting, I make sure all of their needs are met without crowding their space. I move slowly and speak gently (if they seem to want to hear my voice). I give them plenty of space to observe me — they get to make the decision about if and when to approach. Even if after a time they express curiosity and want to come close, I allow them as much time as they need to become familiar with me before attempting any petting or handling.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
