Although I do not have a cat of my own at this time, I do have a miniature dachshund who thinks she is one. Members of my family ... Hello, hello! Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and cats have always been a large part of that.
Every cat deserves love and respect. I’m more than happy to take the time and effort to make your cat comfortable and safe when in my care.
Although I do not have a cat of my own at this time, I do have a miniature dachshund who thinks she is one. Members of my family all have cats and I am very close to each and care for them regularly.
Professionally, I just completed my Master’s Degree. I currently work in customer service where each customer deserves my full attention and respect and will apply that to your cat as well.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been cat sitting since I was old enough to care for myself. I’ve cared for anywhere from 1-5 cats at a time. Each cat has their own particular needs and I do my best to make sure these needs are met.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love that every cat has their own personality and unique needs. I enjoy sitting and cuddling with the cats, spending time playing and simply observing them living their little life’s.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I find it very important to meet with the cats and their parents prior to sitting for the first time. I like to learn any routines and be able to ask/answer any questions that may come up. I also like to learn the lay out of the house and any quirks there may be that could potentially lead to a safety issue. I also think it’s a great way for both you and your precious cats to get to know me.

Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Asheville cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $24.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
