I am a life long cat lover and a cat mom for 30+ years. I have experience with all stages of growth: Kitten, Junior, Adult, Senior, and Geriatric. I speak fluent feline, and understand breed personalities and moods. I have a soft spot for the undercat, runts and the shy cats who don't do people.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?

I’m in it for the purrs, pets, snoot boops and head butts! Plus, for me, there is special delight which comes from winning over the hesitant feline.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?

My clowder (5) have crossed the rainbow bridge. The last, Niki, passed 10/2024. I’m taking a break as a cat mom after more than 30 years. There is no question that I will be a cat mom again in the future; until that time comes, I’ll get my feline fix with your babies!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?

I highly recommend a meet and greet 3-7 days before a scheduled sits begin. If purrsonalities aren't a good fit, you may need the extra time to find an alternative on short notice.

Are you usually available during holidays?

I am very flexible; it’s highly likely I will be available during holidays. I’d rather spend my holidays taking care of your babies than anywhere else!

Cindy was amazing with our two senior cats, one of which is very shy and the other notoriously difficult with strangers (and also requires a daily pilling!) She went above and beyond to make sure our boys were comfortable and well taken care of. Her daily photos and updates brought us a lot of joy everyday while we were traveling internationally, and we would not hesitate to use her again for future unexpected travel!

Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.

All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.

Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.
