I have three cats at my parents house in Arizona: Luna, Max, and Poppy. They are 13, 20, and 2 respectively. I have experience with loving and caring for senior cats and previously feral cats.
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I like to start every new client relationship with an in-person meet and greet. This gives me the opportunity to meet you and your cat while they’re with someone they know and trust, helping everyone feel more comfortable. During the walkthrough, I take detailed notes on your cat’s routine, feeding schedule, litter box care, medications (if needed), favorite toys and hiding spots, and any other preferences or special instructions. I’ll also go over home access, security, and emergency contacts so I know exactly what to do while you’re away. My goal is to make the transition as stress-free as possible for both you and your cat while providing consistent, reliable care that follows your routine as closely as possible.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
My top priority is always keeping your cat safe. My number one rule is making sure cats stay indoors at all times. I’m very mindful about doors, windows, and locks to prevent any accidental escapes. I also respect your home as if it were my own: I’ll ensure everything is securely locked before I leave and will never bring anyone else into your home. You can count on me to be attentive, responsible, and to keep both your cat and your home safe while you’re away.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
