Taking care of cats with special medical needs is a responsibility I take seriously. With training and experience in administering shots and oral medications, I am well-equipped to handle various minor medical situations. While I have had experience administering oral medications and diabetic medications, if your pet is very ill I recommended them staying with a vet or hiring one of our many vet techs with more healthcare experience.
I recognize that each cat has unique dietary requirements, and I am committed to meeting their specific needs. From following specific feeding schedules to providing medicated food, I tailor their meals to support their health and happiness based on your and furry friend’s schedule.

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been cat-sitting and fostering kitties for over 3 years now, fostering for over 5.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Spending time with your fur babies is what I love most about cat-sitting. I love that each kitty has their own personality and I love getting to know them. Every time I meet a new kitty, it is like adding to my fur family.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
All of them :) My favorite cat sitting reservation is my long time client Krulwich. He is a sweet elderly kitty who always greets me with a “herro” and would prefer to cuddle before eating his food.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I have five kitties. Kitten is the oldest and the smallest. Koa and Kaleo are part-maincoone and brother. Luna Rose and Nubla are tortie sisters and the youngest.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
My advice would be to do a meet and greet so you can see if the sitter and kitty are a fit. This introduction is very important. It is also important to check your Meowtel app every day while you are away, in case there are any important messages from your sitter.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
To ensure the safety of the kitty while cat-sitting I always open the door very carefully so the kitty doesn’t run out, I won’t let a kitty outdoors while I’m sitting so they don’t run off and I always check to see where they are to greet them before cleaning the litter or feeding them. I always lock the doors of the house when I’m leaving to ensure the safety of the home.
Are you usually available during holidays?
It depends on the holiday, I will usually keep my calendar updated though.
What is your favorite cat toy?
My favorite cat toy are springs. All of my cats love them!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I let the kitty smell me a lot before I try to pet them and let them get used to my smell, I also like to give treats so they can warm up to me and associate me with good things. But I will keep my distance if that is what they would like.

Mary (Molly) did an excellent job with our kitties, even our shy boy; they came out of their shells by the second visit!! She was good about letting us know when she arrived and sent plenty of photos and videos. She played with them, a lot, which we don't always get a chance to do. And she kept up all the chores, such as washing cat dishes and cleaning litter boxes. We were really pleased with our experience with Molly and will definitely use her, again. Our cats loved her. 💕

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Peterborough cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $26.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
