My name is Hannah, and I’m here to look after your best friend—whether they’re playful, shy, or have medical needs that require extra care. I pride myself on understanding each cat’s unique personality and tailoring my visits to their preferences, from engaging play sessions to quiet companionship.
During visits, I’ll stick to their routine, provide fresh food and water, clean litter boxes, and, of course, offer plenty of affection. As a long-time cat owner myself, I know the difficulty of leaving them at home while you’re away. For your peace of mind, I will be vigilant about monitoring their behavior and well-being.
My educational background is in science and I currently work in the medical field, which has honed my skills in being meticulous, attentive, and detail oriented. Plus, I have a knack for winning over even the most skeptical cats! With me, your cat gets the love and respect they deserve, and you get to rest easy knowing they are cared for.

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
What I enjoy most about cat sitting is the opportunity to bond with cats of all personalities. Whether it’s engaging with a playful adventurer, soothing a shy companion, or caring for a cat with special needs, I love adapting to their unique quirks. I find it rewarding to provide them with comfort and security while their humans are away. There’s something special about seeing a once-apprehensive cat warm up to me or knowing I’ve made their day a little brighter. Their happiness and well-being are always my top priorities.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
I’ve been surrounded by cats my entire life, and they’ve always held a special place in my heart. I currently have a cat named Pumpkin, who is the best companion I could ask for. She came into my life after being abandoned by her previous owner, and has been with me for 3 years now. Growing up, my family not only cared for our own cats but also fostered many, giving me hands-on experience with felines of all temperaments and needs.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
When hiring a cat sitter, look for someone who understands that every cat is unique. Ask about their experience with cats of different temperaments, including shy or special-needs cats. Be upfront and honest about the needs of your cat, you don’t want a sitter to be unprepared to care for them. Communication is key—ensure they will provide updates with photos and details about your cat’s behavior. A good sitter will follow your cat’s routine closely, respect their boundaries, and watch for signs of discomfort or illness. Trust your instincts; the right sitter will make you feel confident and at ease leaving your cat in their care. Your cat’s happiness and well-being should always come first!

Hannah was absolutely great! When she arrived to our home for our meet and greet, our cats warmed up to her very fast. Hannah took a lot of notes on our cats routine and even brought up things we would have otherwise forgotten. Her daily updates were detailed on things such as how much they ate, how they seemed to be and any cute tid bits she notices. Hannah also sent us photos of our boys. She gave us great peace of mind and our cats were kept safe and happy.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving
- December 22-28: Christmas
- December 29-31: New Year's 2027

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Brick cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $23.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
