What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have been pet sitting for over 15 years! I have also worked in a cats only veterinary clinic on outpatient and hospitalized patients.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
I love working with all animals, but I am definitely a cat person - which is why I have two of my own! I like building relationships with clients and their pets & delivering peace of mind. I am relatively new to Tucson and have been enjoying building a new clientele here!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I like to do a meet and greet in person prior to, but also fine if it is not needed by the pet parent. I may ask a lot of questions before hand and like to check in each visit, unless specifically requested by the pet parent not to.
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Since cats can be easily stressed, I keep as close to their regular routine as I can. I like to keep owners up to date with how the cats are doing. I always respect and follow instructions left for me.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
It depends on the level of fear. The more scared a cat is the less I will interact and keep my distance to not make them feel threatened. If I have to, to administer medication for example, I will usually do my best to stay still in one spot low to the ground and let the cat approach me.

Emily was just amazing, one of our cats needed an eye ointment twice a day, she was very good with that. Regular updates twice a day with pictures. Both our cats adored her. she took care of my two fish tanks and house plants. she was the best petsitter we have ever had.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Morganville cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $27.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
