Between my own experience with my kitties and working closely with over 100 cats at the Catfé, I truly understand that every cat has their own personality, boundaries, and quirks, and I’m very intuitive and... Hi, I’m Nicole! I’m a lifelong animal lover with a special soft spot for cats! Spending time with them is honestly one of the most grounding and joyful parts of my day whether that means playing, cuddling, or simply sitting nearby and letting them do their thing!

I take pride in being reliable and detail-oriented, making sure feeding routines, litter care, and any specific instructions are followed exactly so your cat feels safe and comfortable while you’re away! I love and treat all cats as if they’re my own!
As someone who is both empathetic and observant, I’m also very tuned in to subtle changes in behavior or mood, and I take that responsibility seriously. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I approach that trust with care, respect, and genuine love!
I also am comfortable with medication management as I have administered pills, ointments, and eye drops.

Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
My cats are Nala (5) and Simba (4)! They’re both rescues, not related to each other. They’re the funniest kitties I know! Simba loves to play fetch with his “sticky” and “springy” while Nala likes to taunt her brother and sit pretty with her arms crossed! They are my literal life! 💝
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
I’m very anxious when it comes to my own cats and they’re safety and security in our own home. I have gates up by our door, I write notes if maintenance has to come into our apartment, and I’m always making sure our place is clean of crumbs, plastic, and other things they might get into. A pet parent never has to worry about their cats’ safety with me. I’m already thinking ahead and planning!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I’ve worked with all different types of cat personalities. From scared to anxious and timid. For me, I’ve learned to go very slow and respect the cats’ boundaries. They speak to us and as long as they’re respected, even the shyest cat will feel safe enough!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Pine Brook cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
