Currently I have 1 cat and want more but landlord doesn't allow more than 1 pet😿 My solutions are: visit pet shelters & cat cafés, watch my bros 3 cats, and of course spoil my fur baby (love being a cat-mom also). I plan on fostering when I move and in the meantime hopefully you will let me hang out with your cats?

What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Everything, I absolutely love meeting new cats. I want to be friends with and pet all of them (who will allow me of course) I love seeing their different personalities, quirks, and antics. There's nothing more satisfying then when a new cat trusts and comes to you for pets, love, attention, or play.
Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I don't have a favorite reservation, that's like picking my favorite cat, and so far I love them all. However my favorite part of reservations is (of course meeting cats but also) when I see that clients feel comfortable and confident in knowing that their baby will be well loved and taken care of in their absence
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
My spoiled orange baby is Sir Calcifer Winfred Nuggets Morningstar the 3rd. Calcifer for short. As a kid I had a black cat, Bagheera. As a young adult I took in a senior cat, Yzma, that needed to be rehomed.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Follow their lead, say hi from a distance. If a cat is hiding, hissing, or backs away, I will tell them "I'm sorry" and back away. I'll show them toys, treats, food and mimic friendly-cat behavior until they feel comfortable.

Hannah was great. I had to travel last minute for a family emergency and I hadn't had my kitties for a full month yet. Hannah was so reassuring and put my mind at ease about leaving them. She made sure she knew all the care info at the meet and greet, and was responsive to my feedback. She sent great videos and my kitties really liked her, she was there with them as scheduled. We will definitely book with Hannah again!

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Rio Rancho cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $25.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
