I’m experienced with everything from affectionate lap cats to “observe me from across the room” types. My boyfriend and I literally just speak cat language when we are at home with our babies, meows and body language included.
I want ALL the details you can share with me on feeding routines, litter care, medications (if applicable), and favorite toys! Cats want routines, routines create comfort, and we want comfortable cats.

Can you tell us about your favorite cat sitting reservation?
I was being a cat mom for two kitties while the family was away, and every day, one cat would meet me at the door. I gave them pets and affection right away, met back with tons of purrs. The second would hang back and watch this interaction usually but by day four he was right by the door too, looking at me like "I'm waiting for pets too!" It was a great feeling and proves that trust is earned.
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
My two babies are Emma and Joey, named after characters in my favorite TV show. They are bother and sister and inseparable. They play, fight, and snuggle like true siblings. They are very vocal, and we often have full "conversations" of meows.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a cat sitter?
I have had many of my own cat sitters watch my babies. You should share all details about your cats behavior, needs, and wants. What is normal and what would signal concern. How do they handle new people? Where do they like to hide and sleep? Etc. All details are helpful!
How do you ensure the safety & security of the cats and the home while cat sitting?
Always on the look out for cat level hazards in their perspective. Something they could eat by accident, ways to sneak out of the house, ways to injure themselves. And flag anything to the families!
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes usually! My family lives in WNY so I never leave town during the holidays. Reach out to discuss any specific holiday requests.
What is your favorite cat toy?
A string on a stick, which sounds very simple but its very effective! But you cant just wave it around. The trick is to make it "act" like the string is a prey for the cat who likes to hunt. It has to be sneaky, reactive, but not too hard to catch so the cat enjoys the win.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
