I do n... Hello! My name is Nadine and I am a cat mom of a cutie named Vader. He is 8 years old and loves cuddles, walking on my face, food and play time. I have lived around cats for most of my life. We had a family cat growing up, all my great aunts have cats and my grandma always had a kitty. We love to adopt from the local shelter! I personally go for the oldest one that is in the shelter and that’s how I adopted Vader!
I do not have experience with cat medication at this time so if this is needed I suggest not utilizing my services. If I do gain experience, I will update my profile.
I’m an open communicator and would provide updates, if wanted, when cat sitting. Overall I am a bubbly person that likes to get out and explore by walking, hiking or cycling! Favorite activities include knitting, reading, exploring and discussion themes in films!

I do! His name is Vader and he is an 8 year old tuxedo cat. He is a little cutie pie who runs the household!
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
Open communication. I’ll be honest about what I can provide to see if it matches their and their cats needs. If it is not a good match I would not push forward with me cat sitting but let them find someone who can meet all their and their cat needs. To me this is the most important thing. If I meet their needs, then I would chat with them a bit so they can get to know me betters. From there we would book the sitting times and if wanted a meet up before the sitting!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
My kitty is an anxious boy when meeting new people and my go to method is to stay calm and let them make the decisions. I don’t chase after the cat and don’t go looking for them (unless there is a concern) and let them come to me. I find sitting on the floor and getting closer to their level without making eye contact helps a lot. Also being quiet and less imposing helps!

I feel so lucky to have found Nadine; she is truly the best catsitter I could ask for! This was my second booking with her, and once again she went above and beyond. Nadine took on a rescue who had a reputation of being withdrawn and violent. No one wanted to take him on, but Nadine patiently helped him through medical and behavioural issues. He is now a confident cuddle bug. She cares for every animal with the same love and treats them as the important family members and unique characters they are.

She pays attention to details, and has very good knowledge of cat behavior, health, and overall needs. She is equally good with our very timid special needs cat, as well as our bold and sometimes grouchy old man cat. I would highly recommend her as a caregiver for cats.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Little Neck cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $31.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
