My name is Lindsay, I am 28 years old and have been in the animal world for about 5 years now. I started by working at a doggy daycare center and then moved onto working at a veterinary center where I have been for the last 3 and 1/2 years. Which is where I gained my knowledge of cats and why they are the way they are. I have been doing pet sitting do dogs, cats and other pets for the last 2 years and have experience with feeding and caring for cats. I have also grown up with pets my entire life and have a real passion for making sure all animals feel loved and cared for. I look forward to getting to know you and your cat!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have done drop in visits for someone where I will come in to feed the cat, and clean the litter box as well as give them lots of pets and loving I have stayed at someone’s house where I was caring for both a cat and a dog and the cat made biscuits on me, it was very sweet
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I come over to the house for a no charge consultation and get to know the cat and cat parent as well as get the lay of the land/property so that way I know where all of the foods and medications are and I offer to send the cat parent daily updates and photos so the cat and cat parent feel safe and secure with choosing me as their cat sitter
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
I allow the cat to come to me on their own time rather then forcing them to interact with me I find that this technique builds better trust

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
