Hi, I’m Andy, a lifelong cat person with 10+ years of hands-on experience, including rescue work and Rochester Hope For Pets, a local animal nonprofit. I've had my own sassy senior calico for almost 15 years and have the magic touch with shy, anxious, senior, and multi-cat households.

Every kitty is different and I love earning their trust at their pace -- making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved like they're my own!

What is your experience with cat sitting, and how long have you been doing it?
I have over 10 years experience in cat care and rescue, including volunteering at several local rescues to provide enrichment, socialization, and medicine administration. I have sat for a wide variety of kitties, from seniors to siblings and even special needs! Cats bring me so much joy and I truly love getting to know their quirks and making them feel safe and loved.
What do you enjoy most about cat sitting?
Meeting so many different people and their pets. I love getting to know their unique personalities, routines, and making being away a thing they can enjoy, not worry about!
Do you have kitties yourself? What are their names?
Yes! I have a 15 year old calico named Edie. I've had her since she was a kitten so we've seen a lot together. She's my baby and, yes, I will definitely show you photos of her! 🤍
What is your typical process for working with a new cat parent?
I love to have a free informal meet & greet where we can all get to know each other and go over your fur baby's routines in detail. It'll also give me a chance to get a feel for your home and where things are, and answer any questions you might have! My goal is to make you feel comfortable and confident that you're leaving your kitties in the best hands.
Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes! I rarely travel for holidays and should be available for any of your cat sitting needs. Bonus: I don't charge extra!
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
It's all about patience! Every kitty's definition of safe is different so space is usually my go-to at first. I pay attention to body language and go from there. I never want to push them outside their comfort zone or make them feel threatened. If they signal to me they are open to it, I like to sit with them as close as they will allow and talk gently or offer a hand for sniffs and maybe some pets. Sometimes acceptance is immediate, mostly it just takes time (and treats)!

She was so fabulous, we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! She took the time to pet each cat and play with their favorite toys after taking care of feeding and litter cleaning. She definitely has the magic touch- even the very skittish cat was rolling over and showing her belly after a couple days! It was super comforting to receive photos or videos from every visit. I am so grateful for her great attention and care and hope to book her whenever we have an extended trip!

I cannot even begin to describe how amazing Andrea was with my Frankie. This was my first time using Meowtel and from start to end every step along the way was user friendly! The meet and greet with Andrea reassured me that my kitty was going to be well taken care of. Andrea would send pictures and videos of my kitty daily which made me feel so at ease while I was traveling overseas. You can tell Andrea loves animals and personally I think she’s the cat whisperer! Your kitty will be in such good hands with Andrea who has years of experience taking care of cats! Andrea followed all my instructions to a T and even went above and beyond with taking out the trash and sweeping around the litter box! Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Webster cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $23.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.
Cats are territorial animals and don't do well in new environments. The presence of other cats, dogs, and even birds in kennels or animal hotels cause an immense amount of stress. This is why Meowtel was created, so tailored in-home care is brought to you.
We recommend booking daily visits to keep your cats in their routine and help minimize feline anxiety while you're away.
