For about 10 years, I volunteered and fostered for a local cat rescue in my hometown in Pennsylvania (Aid for Animals; Laws for Paws)... Hello, and welcome to my Cat Sitter profile! I would be so happy to meet and take care of your precious kitties. I have taken care of cats of all ages and personalities for as long as I can remember, and currently have 3 of my own: Paris, Maeve, and Cecil (ages 11, 5, and 2). Like all cats, they each have their own quirks and preferences, and over the years I've learned what makes each of them happy. If you give me the opportunity to care for your sweet babies, you can rest assured that I will be gentle and patient, and carefully follow all instructions that you give me. I know that some kitties are very shy with strangers, and I will be very calm and understanding of that.
For about 10 years, I volunteered and fostered for a local cat rescue in my hometown in Pennsylvania (Aid for Animals; Laws for Paws). I gained valuable experience during this time, including: bottle feeding newborn kittens round the clock, administering various forms of medications, providing flea treatments, managing kitties who didn't always get along, providing special diets, and finding perfect forever homes for my foster babies.
One of my dearly departed kitties was a diabetic for the last 4 years of his life. Through this, I became accustomed to giving insulin injections twice a day at specific times, as well as feeding him a special prescription diet. You can be sure that I will take all medical issues very seriously, and give medicine if needed exactly when they need it.
Outside of cat sitting, I work as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant at a local Glaucoma Specialist's office. I enjoy caring for others and helping them achieve and maintain the best eyesight they can. Having this medical background has been an asset when cat sitting in the past, as I'm familiar with different medications and instilling eye drops on a regular basis.
For the most part, I have open availability to cat sit Friday-Sunday, as well as evenings throughout the week. I am willing and able to serve throughout the Greater Dayton area, and as far south as Springboro.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is our third time booking Hayley for Nui, and she just keeps getting better. Hayley is everything you want in a cat sitter — she’s attentive, flexible, and genuinely loving with animals. She sent photos throughout the trip so we could see Nui was happy and comfortable, handled a package pickup and plant watering with professionalism, and worked around our schedule with zero fuss. She even left a sweet gift for Nui, which completely melted us. You can tell she doesn’t just care for pets — she actually loves them. We’ll keep booking Hayley as long as she’ll have us, and we recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a sitter they can truly trust.

Hayley was great to work with from start to finish. This was my first time using a sitting service and not friends to help watch my cats while away, and I am incredibly happy Hayley made the experience so comforting. I had to make a late reservation for Christmas week because my normal cat sitter had a family emergency and Hayley was kind and understanding about the late notice. She was quick to work with me and gracious in her understanding of my situation. Hayley was consistent, always sent pictures of my cats, communicated anything that seemed amiss while I was gone, and kept in great contact both while she was at my house and when she wasnt. She followed the instructions I had for everything, was respectful of my home, and was lovely to just lightly chat with amongst the details we would discuss about the cats and her being at my place. I highly recommend Hayley as someone to take care of your cats when you need the comfort of knowing they are cared for completely and are in good hands while you are away. It will sound very 80s-infomertial-like, but Im very glad *I* did.

Holiday Surcharge
Due to high demand during holidays, sitters on Meowtel have the option to set their own holiday price increase, which can be found in the rates section of their profiles. If your reservation falls within three (3) days before and/or after a federal holiday, or on the holiday itself, a holiday surcharge, determined by your sitter, will be added to your reservation.
These are the date ranges in 2026 to which the holiday surcharge applies:
- January 1-4: New Year's 2026
- January 16-22: MLK Day
- February 13-19: Presidents Day
- May 22-28: Memorial Day
- June 16-22: Juneteenth
- July 1-7: July 4th
- September 4-10: Labor Day
- October 9-15: Columbus Day / Indigenous Peoples' Day
- November 8-14: Veterans Day
- November 23-29: Thanksgiving

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Dayton cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $23.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
Every cat sitter on Meowtel completes a background check. Ask your sitter about a free Meet & Greet so you (and your kitties!) can feel comfortable with your sitter before you leave.

Haley is a wonderful, reliable cat sitter. Within 5 minutes of arriving for a meet and greet both girls had warmed up to her! This says a lot since one of our cats is more reserved. While we were away, we received daily photos of the girls as well as any needed correspondence. I will definitely use Hayley again for future reservations.
