What I enjoy most about cat sitting is getting to form connections with each cat and learning their unique personalities. I love how every cat is different—some want constant attention, others prefer quiet companionship from across the room. It’s rewarding to earn a cat’s trust, especially when they’re shy at first, and to know they feel safe and cared for while their owner is away. It’s peaceful, grounding work, and I truly enjoy being part of their world, even if just for a short time.

How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?

With timid or anxious cats, I take a very gentle and patient approach. I give them plenty of space and never force interaction. I let them come to me on their own time, often starting by simply being present in the room and speaking softly. I avoid direct eye contact, move slowly, and use calming tones. I pay attention to their body language and adjust accordingly. Sometimes just sitting quietly nearby and offering a treat can help build trust. I always respect their boundaries and celebrate even the smallest signs of progress.

Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel within 24 hours of making their reservation and receive a 100% refund, and the sitter will not receive any earnings. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:

Customers will receive a 100% refund to their Account Balance if they cancel anytime up to 48 hours before the start date of the reservation, and the sitter will not receive any earnings.

Customers will receive a 50% refund, and the sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings if the customer cancels between 24-48 hours of the start of the reservation.

No refund will be issued within 24 hours of the reservation, and the sitter will keep 100% of their planned earnings.
