Cat Sitting in Edmond, OK
Alfie (also known as Alfie Tony Rony), joined our family in 2006. We adopted him from an Iowa shelter at 6 weeks old. We later learned he was a Maine Coon mix - a handsome tuxedo boy. He bonded quickly with our pemboke corgi and brought us so much joy and laughter for 19 years.
In 2025, I welcomed two Maine Coon kittens into my life and home. Koah is my fearless, outgoing funny boy... Hello, my name is Tina. I’ve had 4-legged children for as long as I can remember. When my husband and I chose our first pet (3 months into our marriage), we chose a kitten. A feisty black, LHD boy we named Jaspurr. In less than 6 weeks, we adopted sweet Heidi, a calico that loved playing fetch with paper balls. They filled our lives with love and joy, along with their canine siblings that later joined our family.

As always, my home is filled with 4-legged children that offer unconditional love and companionship. I hope this offers some insight into my life and love for felines.
When Alfie was 17.5 years, he was sadly diagnosed with early stage renal failure. His first ever health crisis. I was unwilling to leave him in the care of others. The only exception, would have been our amazing vet. The last 8 months, I was giving Alfie daily IV fluids. I was on a 2+ year job assignment, 450 miles away from Okla friends and family. Not ideal when you have 4-legged kiddos and need to travel or have an out of state emergency. This plays a strong role in why I’ve decided to offer assistance to families also needing feline care. I’m thrilled to be back in Edmond full-time and to hopefully have an opportunity to help you and your feline babies.
My Petsitter listing does not offer “over night” services, however, depending on your needs…..I may be available to help. Please inquire. Thank you.

Are you usually available during holidays?
Yes, mostly. I rarely travel during the holidays, which allows my availability for feline care services during the upcoming holidays.
What is your favorite cat toy?
My favorite toy. . . . . whatever makes my cats and/or your cat(s) active and happy. My cats love a particular interactive battery-operated toy. It has multiple moving parts and keeps them entertained.
How do you handle cats that are particularly timid or anxious?
Patience!! Speaking gently and lovingly. Saying their name and waiting for them to warm up and feel comfortable engaging with me. Also, asking the parents for advice and insight.

Frequently Asked Questions
Reservations officially begin at 12:00 AM in the sitter's time zone on the start date. Cat Parents may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund, as long as the reservation has not yet started. After the first 24 hours, the following cancellation rules apply:
- More than 48 hours before the reservation start date: Full refund. The sitter will not receive any earnings.
- 24–48 hours before the reservation start date: 50% refund. The sitter will earn 50% of their planned earnings.
- Within 24 hours of the reservation start date (or after it has begun): No refund. The sitter will earn 100% of their planned earnings.
All refunds are initially applied to the Cat Parent's Meowtel Account Balance for use toward a future reservation or tip. Funds may be returned to the original payment method at any time.
Meowtel is a marketplace that connects cat parents with independent sitters. For eligible reservations booked and paid for through Meowtel, the Meowtel Promise explains how we support cat parents if something unexpected comes up.

Edmond cat sitting rates will vary based on the sitter's experience and services, but the average price is $24.00. Prices depend on visit duration (20, 45, or 60 minutes) and whether you need drop-in visits or overnight stays.
